I got my first car in my collection (I had some growing up) June 2021, it was the tuned mustang in that gun metal brown black, I waited hours to open it as it just felt so nice to hold the box, popping it out I just kept it around me for a few days. Yesterday my store stocked for the first time since December and I got roughly 9 cars, opened all of them and while the feeling of finding cars again was amazing, it didn't come close

It's a popular one here in the UK. That black one, I would estimate nearly 50% of that model have been stripped and repainted into customs. The other 40% will still be stored away by scalpers, with 10% collected by those who actually like it the way it is.

I like the tooned Batmobile, Enterprise and black X Jet. But theres a lot of others to collect. Think ill get a full set of mainlines again. Love new packaging as you can tell what they are from a distance... new cards among all the old ones on pegs.

The '68 Copo Corvette, the Toyota Land Cruiser 80 and the '63 Studebaker are the highlights for me. Nice recolors for the Mazda RX-7, the Mercedes 500E, the Custom Ford Bronco and the Nissan Leaf Nismo. "Count Muscula" seems to be inspired by the 1970-71 Mustangs. The tooned TV Series Batmobile looks cute. Good Case overall, thanks for the nice unboxing!

Wow! I can't believe it! I saw the Mercedes 500 E and both the front and the rear were detailed! Are you sure a Matchbox or Johnny Lightning didn't get in there by mistake? I've watched you unbox two cases and there have been less than a dozen that make the cut. I've tried to run some of these wierd new cars on the tracks and they can't do it. My old cars are much more track worthy. I remember when the only thing that could smoke a Hot Wheel on a gravity track was a Johnny Lightning. Now Matchboxes and even Masitos do it all the time. The lack of detail is terrible. If it is detailed in front, the back if blank and visa versa. Their version of the Star Trek ships is unforgivable. I'm out. Hail Cobra!

Dont underestimate hotwheels deco quality. They are great. You get what you pay for. And Johnny Lightning models have the worst axles and wheels, next to Auto World.

@@musclecarmaniac6914 I can honestly say that I have enjoyed Hotwheels since they they were first introduced although I did not become a collector until I was what I consider a a middle-aged man. The quality of their product has varied with time, as has that of most toys. I used to have Batmobiles from Corgi, Hasagowa, and Ertl, but I lost them in a house fire along with much of my early collection of Hotwheels, Johnny Lightning, and Matchbox cars that were boxed and not in carrying cases. I even had a Batmobile made of vulcanized rubber that I never could trace the origin of. Matchbox goes to more trouble to detail their ordinary car line, the ones that they sell for kids to play with that are realistic and look like cars off the street, than Hotwheels usually does. Hotwheels does some awesome custom paint jobs on their hot rods, but usually leaves the tail and head lights unpainted at the same time. This leaves an awesome looking car looking unfinished.

The Mercedes has no deco on sides or roof, so it can have deco front and rear. Hot Wheels and Matchbox mainline normally have deco on two out of the four sides (front, rear, side or top).

25 I like, the rest are gay. How about some red line muscle cars with each case? Geez Hot Wheels really sunk down. Metal with metal base again would be sweet for the collector cars, the kid's cartoonish unrealistic kind is fine plastic.
