While I agree that talent matters more, because if you don't have it, no matter how expensive your kit bag is, you are never going to score anything. Even if you get me a Rs.1 lakh bat, I'm never going to be able to score a boundary off Umran Malik. Lets say, he bowls 100 balls to me and I manage to touch one ball, it has more probability to go to the boundary when I'm using a English Willow bat with the best ping and balance than low budget bats. Ever wondered how a 19 or 20 year old cricketers are able to hit more sixers than legendary cricketers of the past? Its the improvements on the bat. So, products matter as well. Sachin(and every other cricketers in the world) had their kit bags and they actually do lot of modifications to even the most premium products that they used. In reality, they carried more than 1 kit bag. Professional players never used their match bats in practice/nets. They carried more than 3 bats every match. Wow amazing. I bought a complete top end kit to take back to US in 2003 from delhi. For Rs 10k. Included propeer shoes... ofcourse no goggles or cream. The bat was SG...the same one that suresh raina used to play with. 1.6 lacs is 16 times more expenisve

I thought most international cricketers stick with one brand at least for their bats , gloves and pads . So if a player uses a Gray Nicols bat he will also use a Gray Nicols glove and pads , helmets are typically from a different brand as there are few helmet makers..this kit on the other hand has a mix and match of different brands..

I think ..it is not at all expensive...if this is the kit world class players use.. When you're a kid and play cricket for joy just some 10-15k kit is ok..(price of an avg phone).. But when you grow up playing good cricket if you have talent to play it decide to make career in cricket..if you play state level..national level cricket...this is a small investment..(just 1 yr online course for jee cost 1 lakh..1 year engineering medical management cost somewhere 3-5 lakh)..

I am a true lover of cricket and player also.....i lost vision of my right eye on hitting with ball but still i can't leave it still playing.....having an old KG bat.....worth rs. 5700....and even i hit 80-90 metre sixes with this....13 yrs old batting pads still alive....so i want to say if you have dedication so it is not necessary to but such too costly equipments......if you can't buy this also.....be a bowler.....if that is not possible love your fielding

153600 for a batsman 154800 for a wicketkeeper bruh dammit, i don't think anyone needs these accessories, from the start. these are absolutely for international level, and i personally don't think that any guardian should brought their kid these things, when they are just beginners. you first prove yourself, get selected for the national team, then buy these by your own money bro. i don't even think our state level players use these ! they also use pretty budget accessories. so instead of wasting money (at the beginning) focus on your game, focus on the technique, improve and prove yourself, and you can do whatever you want ! (just my own suggession, not for anyone particular, don't get triggered)
