Hello Rod and Kevin. I have a 25 gallon tank and I'm wondering what kind of small pleco will live and survive well in it. And not need to b transferred to a bigger tank. My last 2 plecos were over 5 yrs old and were kept in a 100 gallon. And can plecos be fresh water fish

My dream is to open a fish store and I love your unboxing tank set up and would love to know how your system was built and how it works. I have such an issue getting health fish in northern Wisconsin and feel that by quarantining fish in a system like yours for at least 5-7 days before putting for sale would be what everyone like me would like to have here. I feel people here would love to have better fish then the options available. The two main companies that offer fresh water fish in the hobby here are below standards. My daughter in law is a microbiologist and works for the largest saltwater distributor in the Midwest and they have such a problem getting healthy freshwater fish and I’d love to fill that void. My dream is to offer the best service and would love to have any information to help me be the best I can be. I love all animals and know it’s not about money it’s about offering the best fish I can and be known for the best fish in the Midwest!! Any information would be greatly appreciated!!!

the arrivals are looking great, just to point out so you don't accidentally sell the geophagus under a wrong name. They are not G. abalios because of the presence of a black opercular mark. The name "abalios" refers to "a" meaning "not" and "balios" meaning "point." If you can send me some close-ups and location information, I can try to give a positive ID on them. Based on the video, they could be G. winemilleri, G. proximus or a related undescribed species. Since G. proximus is quite rare in the trade, G. winemilleri is more likely.

Yeah the easy way to tell if those plecos ain't dead their fins are sticking straight up if they were dead their fins wouldn't stay straight up they wouldn't have no muscle control so they wouldn't stay updated automatically fall straight back down
