I've dealt with some kits from this manufacturer (like kubelwagen, m4a1 sherman and 1/72 ex-esci M1 abrams starter set) and the only thing I can say is... It's not italeri, it's shitaleri. Lousy quality soft plastic, fitting problems, ejector pin marks,, sink holes... Also, totally not worth it's current prices.
I agree Italeri is not know for their quality in general. I have build their Tiger I in 1/35 and the fitting was really bad, almost stopped me from finishing the kit (even wrote them an email complaint lol). But i dont think all their kits are trash. I have build this Abrams and it was alright. Not a Tamiya level fit but also not the worst in the world.
@@dreamzzscalemodelling True, but they could've been so much more. As for italeri Tiger I kit, I've read it is considered one of the worst Tiger I kits out there in terms of fitting issues and many mistakes like dimensions, symetrical turret and so on (I'm not that much of a rivet counter to care about that, but fitting and quality issues do concern me). Anyway... Yea, Italeri isn't the worst and it is at least better than old trumpeter and zvezda kits (mainly ex-dragon ones). A friend of mine says that ita got some nice plane kits
Could have been so much more is a perfect way to describe them. If they want to compete with other manufacturers they have step up their game significantly
