I just bought a newer one today. It doesn't have the threaded handle and the metal handles for lifting were already installed. The Mechanism that spins the turret is a lever you push up for unlock and down to lock into place. There's a blue safety button you have to press to activate the lever though. It wasn't as heavy as I suspected. Be fun to try it out. Thanks for the video tips.

How do you turn the saw blade right to left

Tilt or pivot? If you’re trying your tilt it, loosen the big star knob on the very back. To pivot, loosen the handle attached to main deck of the saw and slide to the left or right. There may be a lock mechanism you need to pull at the same time. I hope I explained that correctly!

The locking pin may be damaged or have some junk in the way.

Had my new saw set up in minutes thanks to this video, compared to a confusing instruction booklet that was telling me to push the pin in to adjust the bevel angle, when what I needed to do was PULL it out! 🤣
