That is awesome!!! I wore one similar back in the 70's. It was a terrible impact sometimes getting hit, but it was all we had. We didn't know any better. Great mask!!!

The heritage game footage gave me an idea. During the All Star break, there should be a throwback game where current players play a game in old gear. That would be so fun to watch!!

Boney on the other video you wore your classic gear, you are right we did not go down on a RVH or Paddle Down "unless you wanted to get Killed" the only thing ....when the Puck was in the Corner we stood up hugging the Post with one leg straight & the other leg at a angle, stick ready to block anything to the front.... I wore Custom Face Masks, I had a John Brown , Higgins & Harrison Mask, to bad you did not get it properly molded to your face.. The old Masks were hot, and I got pressure cuts over my eyes, 5 stiches in my Brown Mask and 5 more stiches in my Harrison. Also one tips when we made kick saves " back in the day" we kept the skate on the ice... But other wise looks great!!! I still play Goalie started in 1974...

I'm old when I started to play I was a keeper and yup brown pads and gloves the 80s ..I switched to be on defense. My coach asked why I simply said I wanted to skate more. ..the first game I play on defense I scored twice and had a assist. ...I played d for four games them LW RW and center ..I was a top scorer for the team. Now I look back I wish I had all my goalie equipment

Which particular design is this? I'm thinking about getting a Harrison (Liut) for old school pond hockey!😎

If we could get a game or mini tourney together where the players use old school wood sticks with no curve, an idea I've tried floating for the The Paw Classic before, I'm down to play in all vintage gear. Except skates, I tried on my older Kohos from 93-94 when I found them in my parents attic a couple years back and there was no way I'd subject myself to that.

Go buy some D3O foam and amp up your mask . And use a modern mask back plate , Mike Palmateer 's is way bigger in the video , to bad the designer missed that detail.
