Arrow academy still exists in spirit, they said they will still be releasing movies that would fall under the arrow academy banner but are just calling them all arrow video because it was splitting hairs over what was a video title or an academy title
Oh that’s great to hear. I personally think it was helpful to have the distinction between the two niches, but I understand that can be a fine like sometimes. Happy to hear those kinds of titles will still be released. Thanks for sharing!
Another awesome unboxing and Eric Rohmer boxset. First, World Cinema Library and now from Arrow Academy. I don't know anything about Arrow Academy, although, I did pick up my first Arrow Academy release recently called THE WITCHES, which is an Italian anthology film, which consist of short films directed by Luchino Visconti, Franco Rossi, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Mauro Bolognini and Vittorio De Sica. Picked up this film because of wanting to collect the missing segment, documentaries and short films not included currently in the Criterion Collection to fully complete the Pasolini collection. I love watching and hearing about your unboxing of these unfamiliar distributors (well, I know Arrow is well known, just not widely collected in the US). I've only seen a few Rohmer outside of the Criterion set and that is a few of the old MGM DVD titles. It has been rumored for the longest time that has (or had) several Rohmer releases and sitting on them for some reason. Even if Criterion does happen to release another Rohmer boxset. You still made a good purchase with the WCL and AA Rohmer sets. Keep on collecting and watching these great films.

They still release stuff that would have been Academy releases it's just under the Video label now. Though they seem to have released less of these type of titles. Still some cool Japanese films that likely would have been Academy titles
