I bought the sunset, the cles and the noe revival mules😍still waiting for the mules. Loved the denim collection when it released in 2005, but I had no chance to buy a LV back then, I was a student. So satisfying to finally have some denim pieces almost 20 years later😍
Meredith, I don't know about the fabric in the other mini speedy but the "Denim" in all your Vuitton pieces IS a JACQUARD, and what makes it a jacquard is the fact that the monogram is achieved by how the threads in the denim are woven instead of: the monogram only being a layer of paint on top of the denim, the monogram being put on the denim by distressing it, by using a resist dye technique (like the CHANEL denim flap Dayle has), by lasser cutting it and then backing it with another fabric (like Amelia's Loewe jeans), or via embroidery, quilt, or embossing/debossing. Yes it is denim but it's also a jacquard, a relatively"simple jacquard but a jacquard nonetheless. They're not mutually exclusive terms 😊

I understand it. I have this crazy love for my monogram PM Agenda. The look that you got when talking about the Papillon is how I feel about my Agenda. I get such joy with this particular piece 💕
I KNEW there'd be a cosmetic pouch in Part 2! 😉 I had the monogram canvas Papillon 30 with the baby in 2004, really didn't get on with it then, but now I regret getting rid of it. 🦋
Hi Meredith, the pieces are so special since you are a massive denim collector. Since you buy so much Louis Vuitton, have you considered asking your sales associate to put some of the pieces together in a big box instead of a box for a each piece? I can just imagine the massive recyling you do all the time.
They would if I asked them to, but they know for the filming individual boxes are more impactful. I have an industrial recycling bin for those that don’t go to new homes.

I have a couple of the old Soufflot's with their babies in the Epi leather which I love. They are a very similar style to the Papillon. I was hoping you would have gotten the Fairfax, as it looked quite small and I was not sure whether it would fit an iPhone ProMax. The measurement on the website is 7.1 in height, which would suggest you could fit one in. I’m glad you showed that it is an unlikely fit.
So I took the chance because I think the Faifax would be so perfect for vacation. I can fit my IPhone 14 pro max in it, its definitely tight but it fits. I’m so happy. A bit overpriced but hey you love what you love. Most of my purchases I make online, I live in the US, the closest LV store is over an hour away and I hate to shop in Malls. What is shocking to me is that I came to realize that some of these pieces must have been a store sample or a return. The ribbon on the box was not tied and I had no stickers on the clasp. The bag looks ok otherwise so i will keep it but it always leaves a bad impression paying so much money and thinking I was not the first person to unbox the bag.
I love the papillon mother and baby in the denim print☺️! It’s so lovely! The bag itself looks kinda roomy enough to hold the essentials. I also love the zippy wallet and also still hoping and waiting that Louis Vuitton will bring back the old style zippy wallet🤔
Meredith, you are the true LV queen!💖👑☺…….I so loved your saying regarding how the new denim collection makes you happy, remembering what LV was in the past, when you would go in and purchase bags in their stores before it became the machine it is today.🙁That touched my heart,🩷as I miss those days as well😔 Question-are all of the new denim pieces made in France? Also, as a designer, I think it is interesting that in this new denim collection, LV combined; the gold rivets on some of the bags, as they used on the vintage multicolor collection, and the triangle gold closures from the vintage LV Beverly collection.

I collect like a stamp collector or a spoon collector. I have them to use and display, but I have an emotional attachment to them. I do sell bags but it’s not often.

One of my first designer bags was a Prada Nylon Backpack. It was the years when the straps were thick, narrower and soft feeling perfect against the shoulder. I never used it as a backpack though. Just double strapped over a shoulder. I will wear the LV same. Love your info! ❤
