Hope you guys can forgive an ol fella at my age, I use the same sharpening system as the fella, only because my hands give out, Eveyone has an opinion, thought it rather cool that M E mentioned you guys, please take care, whose to say, thankyou very much for whom you are!
I recall a French singer/actor named Maurice Chevalier who was popular in the '60s....the knife was my second Civivi after an Imperium w/cuibourtia scales and Damascus blade. Excellent kinfe and one of my favs...Dom.
Would just like to say, Paddy I just watched from Ireland, what a kind Man, really proud of you guys, cheers me up a great deal, hope I never insult you guys by accident, it happens, take carel, Mr Douglas.
Never ever mean any lack of respect, just went quiet, have no idea what to say, except to possible try to be kind to those best ya can, no one that knows me would be like a squirrel, little nutty, appreciate where you kids come from, mean no kind of disrespect, looking forward to your stuff, won't be easy, will make me a lot cheerful, thanks you guys!
Birds eyes are a PMI scanner! Holy hell he really is a bird! Mr Hawk eyes! I once heard he could see elemental atoms just by squinting his eyes slightly even in pitch dark!
I want that Chevalier so bad, but I agree a mini Chevalier would be even better. Give it like a 2.7 inch blade, and it would be close to ideal, I love a fidgety, friendly looking wharncliffe/sheepsfoot.
Oh Frankie I don't think he meant to. Isn't he several years older than you? LOL. 😁 I mean I can't remember like I used to. Anyway, I enjoyed the video. I love the knife unboxing. Great knives by the way. I love those Chevrolet knives. Actually pretty cool! And as always I hit the like button.
Want to hear what knife sharpness satisfaction sounds like? Listen to Frankie as she tests the sharpness of the Chevalier at about 12:30 into the video. PS. I like the Chevalier and I can't wait for a more detailed review. I'm off to have a cold shower.
The Chevalier was on my want list as soon as i saw it. Not a big fan of any of the blade/handle combinations they released for it, but grabbed the wood handle with the regular stonewash yesterday. Ideally I'd take the micarta with stonewash.
I must say I'm trying to slow down on the budget side these days but than I see 👀 a gorgeous looking civivi button lock and that Damascus looks so good.I do love love my civivi and have yet to try a button lock knife 🔪 and I agree 👍 with Franke on the D2.I know it's a great steel and holds a Edge but when you have 40/60 knifes it kinda makes it hard to keep them all as they need or should be appreciated.I know get rid of some and that is what I am trying.I still love the video and everything else the 2 of you do for the knife community.
I really like both of those knives 🔪. Civivi keeps putting out really nice products. I wonder if the current supply chain problems with China, will affect the knife industry?
You should do a vid where every number is totally wrong and made-up... and see if anyone calls you on it. You could say the "the blade thickness is 37.52.micrometers" and I wouldn't care.
Dammit…. Stoopid! I’ve been throwing those round stickers away and just keeping the Elementum stickers! Dang! So stoopid! (Did I get enough Chris Farley quotes in?) We owe Frankie for realizing they are, in fact, stickers! But… in our defense, the Elementum stickers are OBVIOUS that they’re stickers, and those round ones didn’t feel like they’re stickers! Dang it… stoopid! Soooo close… they just needed to put a button on the Mini Sandbar, and should’ve added a flipper on that Altus (when they released it) and that would have been a pretty awesome lineup of button lock flippers, throwing in some smaller BL/F’s. PS: (Y’all need some counselin’! My best friend’s cousin’s brother’s next door neighbor’s uncle is a counselor… if you want his card.) 😁
