It's still early in the season, so put it out and enjoy it for a few months but put it up after Halloween. I promise you'll enjoy it more if you get to pull it out and decorate with them each year. It will become a tradition and something all of you look forward too. KEEP THE BOXES and store it in there. Not only is a great storage, it adds to the value. Down the road, you can get a big plastic storage tote to keep them together and safe. As a mom, one day you'll enjoy pulling those out each year and decorating with your family. If you choose to have children they will look forward to the spooky town each Halloween season too. You may want to set aside an area in your home and start looking at yard sales, thrift, or whatever for some type of furniture, curio cabinet, lighted shelving, or a buffet table to display your collection on. Something you can utilize during the rest of the year, but also something you can display your collection on as it grows. Also, don't limit yourself, if you hit up Michael's the day after Halloween and you find a piece that's 50 or 75% off get it and store away till next year (esp the add on pieces) Find as much joy in collecting. I'd look on Mercari and other apps to see if you can score vintage pieces too.

That dungon looks so great. In the Netherlands you can buy Lemax and other brand Christmas houses, but no Halloween houses. I loved the Halloween Town tour you did at Michael's. ❣️💀

Congrats on your first Lemax piece. It is a great one. I started collecting a few years ago. I have 7 now. Last week I got the house of shadows. They are so fun to collect. I also have some Christmas ones. I put my spooky town on a wooden cabinet. I get those purple cobwebs that stretch from the dollar store and layer it on my cabinet and place the pieces on that. I store mine away after Halloween and then put my Christmas ones out.

I’ve been collecting spooky town for years and do individual scenes in my bookshelves instead of the giant one all out display. I love it because each shelf becomes it’s own story. Also I drilled holes in the back so I can pass wiring through behind the back drops. I love dioramas since I was a kid, and doing these spooky town displays brings that all back again every year. Plus I like having a spooky bookshelf for Halloween to counterpart the tree for Christmas.

Your video the other day inspired me to purchase my first Spooky town piece. I got the Haunted Estates. It was delivered today. I haven't opened it yet. I'm excited but nervous, I really hope nothing is broken. I plan to display immediately. 🙂

OMG NO WAY! We bought the _exact_ same piece today!! And, had I watched this video beforehand, I might not have spent an embarrassingly long time frantically tearing through styrofoam looking for the A/C adapter and the dragon wheel that I was sure had somehow been excluded. 😂 We started our collection last year and currently have a _very_ small Spooky Town setup for a very small space, but it brings a lot of joy to our little Haunter hearts. I love the concept being so meta, looking like a fake haunted carnival in the middle of an actually haunted town. Congrats on your first Lemax purchase - it will absolutely, 100% _not_ be your last! Loving the haunted mansion top, btw! 👻

I started my spooky town collection last year. I also found several pieces of smaller items on clearance last year! I got the gazebo that was originally 40 and got it for $7!! I should of grabbed the last 2 but I didn't. I regret that tol this moment. I bought the house of shadows, Joe's scarecrow house and Wanda the witch cottage! Every year I will buy a few not so expensive pieces. I also make my own haunted houses from the wood cutouts from dollar tree! They're so amazing! This year dollar tree put out the cut outs and they're ginormous!! Can't wait to get started on it!! So much fun I can't hold back my excitement!

The witch hat could have fall witchy items in it..pinecones, cinnamon, oak or maple leaves....heck even wrap it with spider webs and put spiders on it. Great vlog!❤

Started my Spooky town this year also. I went a bit different route, bought a few mid priced bulb light buildings and a bunch of accessories. With the thought on buying a larger central piece next year.

I picked up the spooky Halloween Disney town that Costco put out. I am excited to set it up. Every year Lemax puts some sorta theme park halloween house. If you start collection them once a year you will have a pretty sweet spooky theme park town. Didnt you guys see some halloween lemax for sale at the Olsmar Flee Market? lol

A small piece of advice: choose what you want your village to be and only buy those pieces. Otherwise you’ll end up with a hodgepodge of buildings. My collection is so big, I can only do one thing a year like last year was a normal village with trick or treaters. This year will be haunted houses with monsters. Next year will be a giant cemetery and haunted woods. The following will be the city buildings with a downtown Halloween parade. We put the pirates out one summer and the cowboys the next.

Just so you're aware, keep super glue on hand when packing and unpacking your Lemax Spooky Town items. Every year I inevitably have my thumb in the wrong spot when handling and something breaks off. Also, even though they're very detailed on the outside, the inside mechanics are typically very cheaply made and usually don't last long before breaking. So handle with care and maybe take a peek inside so you can see how the motor works so you can possibly repair it if need be one day.

i'm trying to avoid going into stores until october ok september because we driveth south i have so much freaking crap to stick in this car it's not even freaking funny i just took several boxes and mailed them to my brothers and they dump them inside the house {GENTLY} lol her christmas presents were in that box too i made sure that my brother undid that 1 and stuffed things in the closet
