Black Tails might be my favorite colubrid species. I have learned a ton from keeping them and breeding them. I have experienced nearly the worst case scenario as well as super easy breeding. If you guys ever want any tips or experiences I can share that may help, feel free to reach out. I'd be happy to tell you everything I have observed and learned. I have eggs cooking right now too!

I love watching these videos. not a reptile keeper myself (in NZ we are VERY restricted on variety of pets) but it's cool learning about different animals and seeing the passion you have for them. I also watch Emzotic's vids and she was saying how that while reptiles of all kinds can get enjoyment and enrichment from being handled and touched by people, arachnids and insects (such as tranatulas) do not, which i found kinda interesting. never considered that the snakes may see people as a skin coloured tree or scratching post :P

Ender's game is one of my favorite books too! If you like si-fi, I'd definitely recommend "The Roar" by Emma clayton. It is a beautifully written book about a shockingly plausible dystopia that ends with a powerful message.

I love new snakes! I also love Ender's Game, I haven't read the book but I watched the movies when it came out a few years ago and it was so good!
