The articulated body is better, but it’s not an Obitsu body. It’s an Azone body from AliExpress. Obitsu bodies are soft and squishy in the main trunk and regular hard plastic on the arms and legs. There is absolutely no reason she could not have switched bodies for you and I’m amazed that she charged you $800 for that doll! She didn’t even change the wig. The only thing she did was a face up and clothing. Those face plates can be purchased on AliExpress so she didn’t carve them. And she used a natural color head on a tan body!
I prefer the articulated body and the neck joint. You just have to be careful changing the eyes on a neck joint. Pull from behind, and not down. I accidentally pulled my dolls head off not knowing that. 😂 I was able to reattach it, thankfully.
