Unboxing and review of the Paramount Browns MMD46 (RF45 / FU45 clone) Mill Drill. I sold my Sieg X2.7L and bought this machine for $2650AUD (September 2023), and I am glad I did.
That mill is on sale right now (2 Nov 2023) at Machinery House for less than $2600 incl GST - good value! It does seem though that the Y travel on that machine is less than both the X2.7 and the MMD46
The 47 and 48 have bigger tables. I've got a BF16 mill at the moment. Did a 3 axis dro + 5um, cheap lcd around $300. Love it. I was looking at the sales thismorning...
Thanks for the video. I was looking at the sieg 3. I decided to take a look at the same one you have. You have made my mind up to get the same as yours but with the dro and coolant system already installed so I can use it out of the box.
