I’m a professional florist and I can make a $200 arrangement in a half hour, but what does that really have to do with anything? That sassafras stick would have to be harvested, dried, sanded, cut, drilled. The rubber stopper, leather cord and finish would have to be sourced, the tools have to be at hand, and the finish needs time to dry. So, can one really do that in a half hour? I’d rather go online, press buy, and have my chosen one show up at my doorstep in a couple of days. I have a fairly extensive woodworking background and $30 for that staff or walking stick is a very good value. I wouldn’t make it for that amount. Let alone, market it, package it, and ship it.
