Have you or has anyone you know actually broke a chassis brace? I can understand the bend in the driveshaft after some big jumps. I feel like a lot of the aluminum aftermarket or Losi optional parts are more or less for looks. What are your thoughts? I'm just giving my opinion on the experience I've had with mine. I run mine pretty hard but don't jump it every time I take it out and I've not broke a thing. As I type this, it's probably been a month since I've ran it, but I've owned it since August 15, 2020 (I take pictures of my RCs when I pull them out of the box and also helps remind me when I receive them). I've "whoopsed" a jump once and it went further than anticipated. Lol. I've jumped if a few times after that but not to that extent.
I totally agree 💯 about the brace itself, but we all know plastic flex’s more, the screws will strip the holes on the braces after awhile if you race or bash and you are like me and strip the car to clean, inspect and maintenance. But mostly it’s to strengthen the chassis to create less flex 💪
