This week I get my hands on the Kenner Real Ghostbusters Fright Features figures. Possibly my favourite set of 4 from my childhood!

yeah it’s really tough. I got lucky, got them direct off Hasbro Pulse in the UK. I wonder if they’re releasing fewer figs after so many of wave 1’s hero figures ended up as peg warmers?

The articulation on these were awesome. Unlike the Wave 1 figures pity these didn't have proton packs

Hasbro haven’t confirmed any more releases, but there’s nothing to say they won’t in future. That being said, Mondo toys have just announced that they will be releasing a range of figures based on the Real Ghostbusters. These won’t be re-releases of old toys, but new designs (likely 7” figs) that represent the characters from the cartoons. So I’ll definetely cover that when more info becomes available 🙂

Had all these back in the day (im 42 now) but only venkman survived, and his feature doesnt work anymore. Always liked different aspects of these figures. Egon was always my favourite and I i liked the colour scheme on this line. Winston i didn't love but the ghost was great as you could put it on their heads. Which figures are you gonna review next mate?

How good were these when we were kids?? Sorry to hear most didn’t survive, but glad Peter did….I’ll be releasing my comparison video soon and you’ll get to see just how battered and bruised my originals are! Winston’s fright feature definitely didn’t survive! Got plenty coming up soon, will be looking at a few different NECA Ninja Turtles along with some MacFarlane Batman figs and hopefully the new Hasbro GB Neutrino Wand modelled on the original film 🤞

@@GeekFigureFan awesome line up! These really were great as a kid, I never actually had the original outfit figures as I thought they were all too samey. Had the firehouse and ecto 500 if you remember that! Really enjoying these trips down memory lane tho, appreciate the reviews my dude👍
