Finally reseived my invictor and would like to notice about fingers. I was confused, that default fingers position doesn’t allow to hold a bolter at all. So tried and found, that it’s possible to rotate fingers induvidually, but you need to use firce and do it carefully, and as a result it’s possible to put a bolter in a hand.
You actually can rotate the orientation of all of the individual fingers on the power fist at the base of each finger, as well as adjust them slightly inwards/outwards from the palm, it's just that the ball joint that connects them to the base of the fist is *suuuuper* stiff. The legs of the Invictor also shift outwards at the hip joint (with the pistons extending as you do that), and there's an *extremely* tight joint in the feet that lets them shift to either side, so you can pose it with the legs more splayed outwards. Also, while you're certainly free to put them however you like on your figures - you do you and all - JoyToy didn't accidentally attach the pistol holster to the wrong leg: you wear a holster like that if the intention is to perform a cross body draw when pulling the pistol from the holster... and that's actually the way that Games Workshop themselves attach them, in the official product photos for the various Phobos-armored units that JoyToy have been basing their own figures off of. Switching it around to the other leg is actually attaching it backwards.
Ahhh good to know. Thanks for all the info that you have given me as typing your reply definitely took a good amount of time. I love the insights from you as well as other people. All this information definitely helps me understand the product better and makes me a better reviewer!
Awesome. I cannot wait for my imperial fists marine coming, but after watching your Gravis captain review.. I'm kind of scared. Do you plan on picking up the blood angels ones?
I have bought the Gravis captain, BA Intercessors, Reivers, Incursors, Infiltrators, the war suit, Primaris librarian and the only one that I have been dismayed about is obviously the Gravis captain. So I will say that in all likelihood you'll be fine with the Imperial Fists. As for the BA Intercessors, yup I am picking them up. In fact, they are currently on the way so I will be reviewing them in the next few weeks!
No, I would not say that the war suit feels like cheap plastic. JT know what they are doing in terms of making mechas because they have been doing it for years.
Oh, yes! Humongous war machine! Great review, as always. Kinda dislike the whole "non-grimdark dreadnought" idea, but this particular desigh is great for an action figure/big model kit, and the figure itself is great. Also, nice foam box. But I want a Castraferrum Dreadnought. Are you planning on getting one, or maybe Redemptor? P.S. JoyToy announces Outriders lately. More vehicles!
