@@JesseRebirth What's up, Jesse! I ended up picking him up from Sideshow; it was one of their Deal of the Day promotions. I actually wasn't in the market for another 1/3 statue (absolutely no more space) but I couldn't let that deal pass me by. Jesse, I got this piece for $659.75 with $60.00 shipping! I mean come on. This was cheaper than most quarter scale pieces. The 7.43 suit and the Arkham Origins suit are my favs of the entire series. I got the collector's edition so no swap out parts for me, but I'm totally fine with that. As for the statue itself, man it's a beauty. This is my first Arkham piece and I know for a fact had I the space, I'll be gunning for another one. The character designs are so damn good. But man, this video of yours was INSANE! I really tip my hat to you guys for doing this. I mean as a fellow collector I know the struggles of putting together a piece, not to mention one this big. Hauling the boxes from room to room, getting the piece out of the boxes (which is a struggle in itself), then assembly. It's not easy! And the entire time you have to handle it with kids gloves because you don't want to break anything. And for you guys to fully assemble it knowing you'll have to move it again later on is really something else. It was an amazing video. My fav configuration has to be the broken helmet and standard arm.

But I do like the piece you are talking about. I remember The wonder woman statue that your mum bought with the black stallion. On the unboxing was some damage and I remember you saying prime one sent a new piece out.

I fell you bro… for me there was no choice, it’s really one of my favorite moments from all four of the volumes! I still remember being in Florida standing next to Space Mountain on a family vacation, logging on to P1 and seeing it up for PO lol POed it right then and there! But you know P1 has been redoing some 1:3’s in 1:4 like Hush Superman. I know it’s highly controversial but they may end up doing it with this one.. I have no inside info or anything but I can just see it happening due to the demand for this statue but the price and size being a hurdle.. but free shipping bro, that’s a killer deal because shipping was almost $1k.. You know bro, I’ve since given this some thought at why they put it under DKIII Master Race. So the original The Dark Knight Returns was 4 books: The Dark Knight Returns, The Dark Knight Triumphant, Hunt The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Falls. Which is commonly just referred to as The Dark Knight Returns. And then the sequel was The Dark Knight Strikes Again. And then finally DKIII Master Race which released back in 2015. So DKIII continues the story and Batman and Superman both wear this style of armor in it but they never end up fighting. Then it hit me!! When DKIII was being released as single issue comics the each had a bunch of variant covers by many different artists and most were based off the scenes from the original The Dark Knight Returns. Basically moments the artists wanted to pay homage to. But that Batman on the eagle I mentioned in your other comment was taken straight from one of the DKIII variant covers, as have other statues like Iron Studios 1/6 of Batman on top of the mutant leader. lol now I know the was a super long comment but google “DKIII Master Race covers” and you will see that a bunch of the covers had paid tribute to Batman and Superman’s legendary fight. But I think that was their reasoning but I think the Licensing is probably the main reason they did it under DKIII. But thank you again bro for all the support!!😎🤘🏻🦇

It definitely is a major space eater for sure.. and if it wasn’t TDKR and as epic I wouldn’t have wasted the space on it. But with that being said have you noticed all the 1/4 scales P1 is starting to do?? They are even redoing Hush Superman and Hush cave Batman🤔 I love the presence of the 1/3 scale but 1/4 definitely carries collectability.. which is a long way of saying, I wonder if they are going to end up scaling this monster down to in the future?? So I was going to collect them all beings Karen and I love Cowboy Bebop buuut First4Figures cancelled my waitlist for Spike so we decided without having the complete line that we would settle for Faye. But I’m sorry to hear that bro.. did you end up receiving a fourth?? And what kind of paint issues?? I thought Vicious looked dope and was an awesome addition that line.. it’s a shame they dropped the ball on him. @@JesseRebirth I love the presence that 1/3 gives, but they are serious space hogs. I'm too invested in 1/3 to switch to 1/4 scale. Also, 1/4 scale don't really display well anywhere near 1/3 due to the size differences. The 1/3 I have, I don't plan to ever sell so I'm fine with a finite collection as far as that goes. Vicious - the paint on the body had these spots on it. I came to the conclusion that it was caused by the paper they used in packaging. It was rubbing the outer sealant coat and making these patches of shiny black. It was extremely noticeable. First4Figures tried to tell me it was over-spray from the sealant, and that you could rub these marks off, but I proved that wrong. Rubbing the marks just made it worse. They never offered a fourth statue - just said they needed the remaining replacements for other customers and gave me a refund. I really wanted this piece too since I have the rest of the line, but I don't believe there are any good pieces out there. The few videos I've seen on FB from their giveaways show the same spots, but it's always under bad lighting and hard to see. I've also noticed that First 4 Figures removes any negative comments - even if they are just questions about defects - from their FB groups (I never posted, but noticed it happen). That's not the way to do good customer service. Something seems to have changed there since the pandemic. Not sure what's going on. BTW - you have a great channel. It's nice when somebody who reviews the statues actually knows the in depth comic history.

Hmmm well since then we have some new contenders but let’s see for 1/3 P1: 1. Azrael (Knightfall Batman) I hate that people call him Knightfall Batman lol 2. Thomas Wayne (Flashpoint) 3. AO Batman 4. AC TDKR Batman 5. AO Noel Batman That would be if I had to choose.. most are some of the earliest P1 statues but I think they hold up well and were still in that early Arkham Formula with their bases.
