Finally got the closest match to my real life Porsche Cayman! Porsche has changed my mind on the color Yellow......this "Racing Yellow" is miraculous! This Schuco diecast is a perfect addition to my diecast collection, and the Yellow just make this Porsche Cayman GT4 pop! This is a true METAL diecast and no details were left spared. The gas tank door even opens!!

Matt, I am finally getting around to watching your other videos. I became a new subscriber after watching your Maisto 2024 releases in Sam's Club and Costco. We've chatted in those videos. I watched the footage you have of your real Porsche. I checked out your video equipment list. Nice stuff. Can I ask what you do for a living? I've been making tv commercials for more than 30 years. @@MHMotors1 I think I have made a few thousand commercials. I can certainly remember some of the bizarre clients I have worked with. Oh, and I went to two Sam's Clubs this week. One had three Maisto cars and the other had zero. I'm wondering when they will put out their shipment.

@@MHMotors1 oh, and if you want to check out JC Fernandez Cars Shops and Collections here on RU-vid, I have shot and edited most of the episodes. We shoot and put out the segments every week. Some great cars in Las Vegas. Hopefully, we'll be able to take the show beyond Las Vegas.

Really cool model and nice to know it’s in a similar spec as your own 2018 718 Cayman, although at $200 it is a bit pricey considering I’ve seen Maisto Porsche models like this with 95% of the same details for $15 a pop at Costco and Sam’s Club. Guess you really are paying big money for those very minute details. Either way, beautiful model.

Yes you really are paying for the extra details and quality of craftsmanship with the different brands. Comparing my Maisto Porsche to this, it is heavily noticable the difference. Also rarity comes into factor, especially on models that are discontinued.

@@MHMotors1 Yeah you really are paying more for the exclusivity than just the extra details but because it’s discontinued I am sure that increases the value of the model as well.

@@BarikSingh the details too. Maisto only goes so far with their detail quality. This model is on par with AUTOart and Hot Wheels Elites, certainly exceeds the Maisto level of detail.

i actually recently bought the red version of this Cayman GT4 and was really dissapointed in some ways that the quality doesn't justify the big price tag. these should be around the 99 euro/dollar mark like the lower tier minichamps in my opinion , not even a base or display case , i nearly lost it seeing that it wasn't screwed in anywhere so its a miracle these arrive without damage. BUT! i only payed 130 for the red one so that sweetened it a bit for me

I thought the details were pretty good, and I felt the justification of resale price was alot to do with rareness these days. What quality parts were you dissapointed on?

Now i have ordered one in same colour "Racing Yellow" as my real 981 GT4. I hope i get satisfied with the possibility to look at my Gt4 alla year around. I have the same stiching and carbon seats but i also have the clubsport cage and PCCB:s. I am really looking forward to delivery.

This one is diecast metal. It is quite heavy and shows solid construction. Schuco did a fantastic job.

@@MHMotors1 - sorry, I meant different brakes. I have the PCCBs with the yellow callipers. I have a red 1:43 but would prefer a 1:18 if I'm honest. The GT4 is simply an awesome car.

@@eddie275a ceramic brakes are amazing from what I've heard. Definitely one of the best on the market and it's great Porsche offers them as a factory option. I agree, the 1:18 scales do provide a great amount of details!

@@MHMotors1 - absolutely, the PCCBs allow me to brake very late into corners and still exit quickly. Alas I've never found a red 1:18 GT4 model, otherwise I'd have bought one.
