As a note, I would recommend recording without any music playing in the background while speaking. You do have that one section where you cut it out to hear the room noise, and a few spots here and there where the music disappears for a second, but with the music constantly playing, that can cover up any nuance in the recorded sound. I have heard one other review of this device that had some mild robotic overtones to the person's voice, but he stated it had to do with software audio routing he did for videos.

If you test sound, mic, amps, interface.. It would be better if there is no background music so that viewers can hear how it sounds.

my question is that can i use this for vocal recordings?, ive listened to the audio tests and it has a considerable amount of hiss, i don't have a um2 uphoria so i can't compare the amount of hiss properly to interfaces with proper brandings, thankyou

I listened back to it and that hiss is my computer. It's hard to describe but you can hear it. There is no such things as a perfect microphone or interface because every single thing has a hiss in it. What I can tell you is that this preamp is pretty clear and there is no hiss from the interface. I hope this helps. Thank you so much for watching!

@@cattmann did you ever figure it out? Mine has a whole bunch of hiss, I used all of the buttons of the interface I messed around with it, I even plugged in a driver into my daw and everything And it still has a lot of hiss on my recordings.

I'm thinking about this xtuga item, because of 24 bit and 192 khz, but I have seen the behringer xenyx 302usb, which almost does the same but you can edit your bass and treble live and not on software only. Which should I pick to have a good audio while playing online? I have Samson Q2U as my new mic. Thanks!.

Honestly, if I answered this comment 6 months ago, I wouldn't have a clue what Crestron is but I worked at my local University that used Crestron devices and Dante (I'm certified in the older version of Dante Level 3!). I've recently acquired same brand of audio interface but unfortunately it's not working, at least not in the way audio interfaces should. The sound doesn't come through the headphones when I insert media file. There's no sound at all after recording. ANYONE having same issues??

That should be your softwares issue,,but any two or more channel led interface should record 2 channel simultaneously

Even when I was done with the video, I messed around with it and I couldn't figure out how to turn direct monitoring off and it will bring the volume down of the mic and headphone. Hi, is real the 192khz A/D converter? Or is fake? Or is like the “misterious ” m-audio interface ?? (False) some stores specs on 16 bit/44.1khz and the m-audio “24bit”(no more info). M-Audio is FAMOUS WORLD brand, I don’t know this new brand......

@@kramjor4851 I don’t think that’s logical because if you use a microphone that needs phantom power or anything, it will drain your battery. Also, it’s a power draw so I think it will mess up your phone.

Hello, please allow me to pitch in. Im also hoping that this will work on android phone too.. as we can see, the E-22 has USB Type B port and a MicroUSB Port. Since there are 2 usb ports, and if we're going to connect to android phone, we will use the E-22's USB Type B port (the applicable cable, USB B to USB A) and an OTG Cable.. As for the E-22's Power supply, we will use the MicroUSB. Could you try this setup? Thanks!

Can I still use this for music production irrespective of the issue with the direct monitoring??... Or is it better to go for Behringer UMC22?

Yes, you can. You can also install ASIO4ALL and that will fix the direct monitoring issue but if you don’t install it, you can still use it. All you have to do is just turn down the knob for whatever input you plugged a XLR into. I hope this helps! Thank you so much for watching and have a Happy New Year!
