From a business perspective, why bother giving anything to an addict who will continually play your game. Meanwhile Jagex gains exposure by doing this and when he played OSRS even though he did everything wrong and never touched it again.

Yeah, there's some really good prints of RS artwork for mousepads. I have one and it's real nice. Took forever to get it (EU to Canada shipping LUL) but it's a very nice quality. Other than the initial smell it gave off, it's been holding up well.

@@nergigante. Took about a month and a half because COVID literally kicked in as I ordered it and it came from China. I didn't do express, though, so that might've also been why. But, when it showed up it wasn't damaged or anything. Just rolled up and I had to put some weight on it for a day or two to flatten it out but it really is a nice pad. I have a glass desk, so, it doesn't slip around at all and the material doesn't come apart like cheap mousepads.

Pretty cool of Jagex to send this to Asmon's way. Sure, he only played OSRS once and that was a sponsored stream for Leagues, but he also had the OSRS Dev team on for a two-hour interview on Allcraft and you could see that he really enjoyed talking to them. No need for people to be salty that he received this.

@@experiment.3324 @Experiment. Didn't know he played OSRS on his second channel, but I do remember Rich saying that he played it off stream now that you've mentioned it. After watching his stream, it became more clear that starting out on OSRS fresh from the tutorial island just isn't stream friendly at all. Constantly being bombarded by new information from viewers, getting to grips with a new game in general and worst of all for him was trying to navigate through the Runelite settings lol. Who knows, maybe in two years time he'll stream OSRS with a main acc he's been working on off-stream and tries his luck in the fight caves. I still think OSRS is the best type of MMO for him to get invested and lost into.

3 years late, buuuuuuuuut. You have to remember that OSRS dev team is relatively small, and are relatively passionate about the game. Our lord and Savior mod Ash has been a dev for Jagex since the golden age of early to mid 2000's. They love the game as much as the players do.

Man, i literally grew up in old school Runescape back when it was just "Runescape" lol. All of middle school and first couple years of high school. Even when WoW came out I would still hop on RS to play with friends that didn't want to play a subscription based MMO.
