Unboxing, Setup, and Gameplay of My Original Nintendo Wii in 2021! 

Bought a wii on 2020 and been loving it since

I got my Wii for Christmas in 2008 and I still have it today in 2023 and it works perfect. I’ve been playing a bunch lately. I still have the Wii remote that came with it and the one that came with Wii play. I have softmodded it with homebrew, usb loader, and rii connect 24. I have done no crazy modding like changing the Wii menu theme and other insane hacking stuff. And the funny thing is, I play mine on a Panasonic plasma tv too but I did buy some Wii component cables to upgrade it to 480p and it looks amazing. I do still have the original cables.

Did you know?: Wii sports was the best selling Nintendo exclusive game of all time. Edit: also back in the Wii days the Wii was playing every Nintendo game GameCube backwards compatible with the controller ports and memory cards on the top and the NES,SNES,N64,arcade games and mega drive and other ones that I forgot so the Wii was playing most Nintendo games which was awesome back in The day and also I have so many memories with this including the music and games so yeah good video

I got the wii back in around the year 2008-ish, and I played Wii sports and this was my first wii game

i just bought a pre owned wii and im excited for it to come home like a kid lol

I never did get an official Wii console, but I remember playing it in Germany where I spent my vacation with my family there. It's a pretty neat console and I feel like the Wii did the motion control gimmick the best. I mostly played Wii Sports, but it was fun. Even my family who actually hate gaming enjoyed playing the Wii to my surprise. It's very rare to see a console being made that everyone can enjoy playing. Now days, it's pretty difficult to buy old Nintendo consoles, because the old Nintendo games have very outrageous prices. My very first and only Nintendo console I currently own is the Nintendo Switch, but I mostly play games more on my PS2 & PS3 consoles, because I grew up with PlayStation & also I just enjoy playing older games in general. It's not like I don't play the Switch, I just personally enjoy playing games on older systems. There was even a moment where my tamily thought of getting a Wii at one point, but thay was years ago and it didn't happen.

I have just started my kids old wii out, im gonna use it myself lol . Wow its like going down memory lane. ❤

That wii is gamecube backwards compatible. Those slots r for gamecube memory cards and if u flip up the other flap next to it u can put 4 og gamecube controllers

Tip on Wii bowling: When you throw the bowl on the side there's like a red button and it will make all of them fall

I was 1 years old in 2006 and my parents got a Wii probably in 2007 08 it was my childhood console as well as the Gamecube and the 3DS

The flaps on the top are for GameCube Games you can put in your controller and memory card and play GameCube games

1 question how did you download your games?

Make sure to homebrew. It’s so worth it.

Tip: The memory card slots are gamecube its backwards compatible with gamecube

Just bought Wii resort and it won’t connect to the internet 🤦🏽then I got it to the remote set up I pushed a and b and it still did nothing keeps going back to the remote setting I gave up🤷‍♀️

i only have one wii remote because when i was little i spilled milk on it and never cleaned it up so😅

I just set up my wii from when I was 3, but any of the sport games I play, I can’t swing. Found out that my controllers movement sensor was busted :(
