@@bradleyNarouraiPad 2 is slightly faster many of the time than an iPad 3, because of iPad 3’s A5X chip have to handle 4x resolution on that retina screen with only 2x graphics performance than A5, while the CPU stays the same 😂😂😂
the iOS 6 appstore can be brought back with a cydia tweak and its fairly clean too with the exception of buy/download button being the ios 7 buttons but going to genius or updates tab will give a cannot connect error but its something for now at least also how rare is the ipod touch 5 on ios 6.0.1
So be honest that iPhoneOS sounds kind of catchy sadly since Apple well not go back. Since I use the accessibility voice assistant on the iPhone and iPad I change the pronunciation for the voice to speak iOS into iPhoneOS. It sounds pretty catchy too though, and I got so used to it since this is my first time knowing about it I was trying to out the iPhone OS pronunciation for like three months now at first it was kind of awkward hearing it but all the time I got used to it pretty quickly. I didn’t miss the old Siri told her they had with iOS 7, because that iOS 16 and put that away and get us the spoiled one until iOS 7 to ruin that even more by making the sound on horrible I know there’s a lot of mispronunciations, but I meant to say that I don’t want 7 ounce Alamo better than the current Siri tone it’s because iOS 16 ruined it and gave us this new one when a lot of people did not like it. Oh geez well preferred to go back one newer one like it but 17 updates took it away, so you could barely hear it. To be honest, I would like to get my hands on one of those iPads. How about the iPad 4 and the three if they have voiceover since I am applying music and I like using VoiceOver on different iPads for my iPad five from iPad six and now with the iPad seven and also my school, they gave me a temporary iPad eighth to borrow since my current one that I have right now making this comment was being fixed at a time because my school was taking different students iPad to get upgraded to iOS 16 for the first time however, mine has a few issues because it was stuck in the reboot process so it took them a while to fix it so they gave me a temporary iPad eighth GEN and 2023 and March until I got my iPad seven fixed on June 2023 and then I had to give the iPad back The iPad seven that I I am currently making this comment right now. This is the one that got fixed and I’m very happy that this current iPad seven generation running iOS 18 beta came so far. and to be honest I was going to lose it because I’ve been having this iPad for nearly 4 years now since 2020 my school counselor gave me this iPad on October 27. well currently this one is running iOS 18 developer beta one which is the developer beta to, should be coming tomorrow the other iPad that I received from my school two weeks ago oh no really but it was actually on June 14, 2024. It was another iPad seventh generation, which is running iOS 16.4.1 a it’s kind of weird for me to find new iPads that has iOS 16 or 15 oh really with 14 update since there was one iPad in my school. It was running iOS 14.6, which is pretty cool because it has the old Siri tone especially with iOS 15 however, I’m very happy with 16 or any updates that I have. That is not 17 because 17 was pretty slow on my iPad.
My second gen iPad stopped working recently. It starts up with the Apple logo and won’t go any further. Don’t know how to fix it. Third gen one still works but is terribly slow. They’re both in great condition though.
for youtube there's a method which uses a custom google API made from the developer APIs of youtube, as for the App Store, I dont know anything other than its certificates expired and Apple didn't renew them.
Is it hard to find old ipads on ios 6 on ebay but on ebay when buying an ipad would you have any advice for buying them off ebay to avoid being scammed Is ebay the best place to get them or is there anywhere else good let me know thanks
Still got a first gen and 3rd gen in mint condition. Both got the box. Great stuff, it is getting rare. However the first gen doese not worth as much as the first gen iPhones.
Back in 2017 I managed to get an iPod touch 1st gen on iOS 3, a 4th gen iPod on ios 6 and downgraded it to 5.1.1 successfully I was so amazed how they looked iOS 1-5.1.1 will be always on my heart for ever
@@GoJot ok I would if that iPad 3 is still on iOS 7. Go to software update and see I am very curious if iOS 7 goes to 8.4.1 then I will maybe downgrade my iPad 2,4 to 8.4.1
I think getting ipad 1 on ios 3 is hard because it was a Completely new device so people didn't know what that was for, and most people probably bought it when it was shipping with iOS 4
maaan I got an iPad 1st Gen on 3.2.2 but its only blinking a black screen so its a dead battery.. idk if I want to try to replace it.. its sad I bought it literally with showing the home screen and it "died" when arrived.. :( thats the only one in germany i EVER found on 3.
@@MrMagicMadMax that for 250? Hell no lmao I got this for 15€ including "matching serial" box. Why should I buy from a Collector? Dont get this personal or me wrong but Im huting from regular people and not overpaying for an old iPad. :D As 99% do and that was the only one yet not being sold by a Collector for a ridiculous price tag. Also got an iPod Touch 4 for 10€ on 4.1 an iPhone 4 for 15€ on 4.0.1 Original aswell as an iPhone 5 for 20€ on 7.0.2. If I would have bought them from Collectors thats 1K probably while I paid 60 bucks. Good Luck though I doubt that if theres not THAT ONE guy/collector as you who REALLY wants that its hard. :) Im not a "real" Collector just like some original software on things that pop up here and there so like a "collector lite" haha
iPad 2 and iPhone4S could be downgraded back to iOS 6.1.3 with relative ease if they’re on iOS 9. There’s no perfect way to downgrade the iPad 3 and 4 unfortunately. iPad 3 and 4 had the beautiful retina screen, they are great to run iOS 6.
I got an iPod Touch 4 on 4.1 but it also has no backlight, has ripped speaker wires, and the headphone jack connector is ripped clean off the motherboard 😢. I was sometimes able to get the backlight working by constantly unplugging and reconnecting the screen cable but it was definitely screwed. Maybe sometime I can get the board repairee
I have always dreamed of doing what you're doing now, collecting almost every iOS device on almost iOS version I lost my interest on idevices since iOS 10, the holy grail are iOS 1.0-5.1.1 and Mac os mountain lion they were the most beautiful softwares on earth It's a shame what apple did to the Mac os and iOS since 2015
They're all super outdated hardware with super outdated software. They're also valuable collector items. I think you should look elsewhere, especially if you want a device for daily use that you don't need to jailbreak.
