Anyone with the color-transfer issue from the factory mistake, please contact Diamond Art Club support for help. If you'd like to fix it yourself instead of returning it, please try mica powder between the drills. Square drill canvases are not going to have an issue at all, but the pink may stand out from light backgrounds on round drill kits. Just know that doing this may void the warranty. This Morales has the cover on backwards... The pink grid will be transferred onto the glue... I think I saw some of it when you pulled the plastic back. Not a huge issue for square kits but bad for rounds.
I have this canvas and the pink lines definitely show through the lighter areas. Bummed about it. I did contact customer service but I will be cautious with rounds from DAC for a while
I have the same issues like a lot of buyers. But the cost of returning the canvas is 50€!! From Germany to the USA. I think it’s to expensive for DAC, so I believe I take the points they offerd me. Im not amused, cause that was one of my favorite Paintings.
You enabled me, i was debating on that Margaret Morales kit... Well, I gave in and lost the battle. l was waiting for someone to review this one, pretty kit. lol
I also think I saw some of that colour transfer when you pulled the cover on the Morales piece back a bit. I would be really interested to see, if you decide to work on it, what workarounds or fix-it you come up with for that issue.
both paintings have the cover wrong, you can actually see already by the colour of the lines. If it bleeded on the canvas, its a very light pink, almost neon. The right side up its a darker pink
I just received “Finder Keepers “and the dots are on the painting. I’ve never done round drills and I see many say it should be okay with square drills? ( which mine is square ). I am fairly new to diamond painting so I will trust the process:)
I saw the bleeding of the res lines when you pulled the plastic back.. It would be interesting to see now it looks once you have placed à few drills. Will you try the mica powder to fix that?
