Don't mess with the Spro Hooks. It's balanced really well out of the package. The 77.7 is a great bait for the Northeast. Represents an Alewife really well. Gets bit when it shouldn't. Almost like a wildcard topwater. I used it to place in number of tournaments last year. Unfortunately pickerel and even snapping turtles like it too. The 105 has a louder rattle.
Those were some great looking bait!s I wouldn't mind trying them here in N.Florida! I laughed when you mentioned Lake Wallenpaupack, because I lived in N.J. near Philadelphia and we would go to the Poconos once in a while, and fish there. When I was a teenager we called it "Lake Smoke a Whole Pack" ....FishOn...jimi
Hey Den, have you ever tried a 6" Huddleston swimbait at paupack or Beltzville for stripers? I'm debating picking one up in the rainbow trout pattern....but would love to hear your thoughts before spending $35
Evergreen SB is my favorite topwater walking bait. The smaller size 77.7 is really good. The stock hooks are really sharp. Try the stock hooks before you change them. 👍🎣
