WOW! This just made my day, Paul - thank you!! I've been absolutely loving painting them! Special mention goes to the occasional little patch you've sculpted onto some of the peasantry's clothing - so characterful. I didn't notice them at first but now I'm intentionally going back and painting them in different cloth colors!

@@axisandaliens A mounted knight along with a foot knight and possibly a couple of others as test figures to dip you toe in and help you decide how to go about it all. The main thing is, enjoy it.
I’m up in Vermont, I bought heavily into the Baron’s War and I would be up for driving down for a game at some point. I’ve got a lot of different historical stuff also.
@@TriariusWarGaming well I’ve played a couple of demo games just to learn the rules and it seems bigger units are necessary - I bought a little bit of everything but need to invest in building out the units more. I’m going to aim to start with two 500pt forces.
Pikemen’s Lament is a great game. I have played it more than any other game and the small sized armies make it easy to get started. The Greatest Knight is now on my reading list.

We've been chomping at the bit to learn some historical games, but it's largely fallen flat due to covid and not being connecting with any established historical players in the area.
