correction: this is not running any version of Android but it's actually running a Java operating system called Symbian. The font, Java app and fullscreen pop-ups about the charger and everything gives it away
@@ayukovt These cheap chinese phones didn't use symbian, only legitimate manufacturers like Nokia, Samsung, LG, etc. used Symbian. I'm assuming this is mediatek like most of these chinese clone phones were. Symbian doesn't even have a "Java" app like that, it just shows each installed java app/game separately in the menu.
@@gtrxAC ah I thought Symbian was a thing where you can just get the source code and implement it in your random chinese knockoff and not a thing locked down to legitimate manufacturers
I didn’t even know there was a fake iPhone 2G I just bought an iPhone 2G on iOS 1 on eBay auction for £44 I hope it’s not a global mobile if not I need a return
I recently bought a high quality 1st gen clone a few weeks ago that another seller pointed out to me. These are hard to find and are rare. These are much more valuable than regular old iPhone 2g. The cables for those clones are also hard to find as they are not Micro-USB and are some type of Chinese proprietary cable.
This device runs MediaTek MAUI and is most likely based on an MT6226 or MT6225 processor. Most iPhone clones of that era were based on that same SoC and OS but with different skins. It's also why a lot of them share the same defualt MediaTek ringtones (I have a video on my channel about them)
"It is running old version of Android".... Bro are you joking? 😂 Android was never this trash ever. This is the same Java based OS I found on every cheap Chinese feature phones back then.
1 micro usb was made around 2009 2 this isn't heavily skinned android it's a java based os that run on the lowest of the low end of devices back then evsn in 2012 with some galaxy s3 clones they ran this java os based stuff skinned to look like TouchWiz
@@BarrySmootherit still would be pretty hard to find one, but I did manage to find an upgraded model on eBay which has Bluetooth and double sims. Probably best you didn't get it
For 30 bucks you can never find a 2G in good shape, I got mine for 70 bucks a few years ago and now they go for like 180 and up depending on the condition.
One of my friends got scammed when she ordered an og iPhone on eBay as a gift for me, we were messing with it trying to get it to turn on, and it was so garbage that it started working after I dipped it in water, we were both laughing hysterically. For good old phones, water breaks them, for fake old phones, water fixes them
I mean I understand some people aren't tech savvy but "a very very old version of Android"? Really? Couldn't have spent a few seconds looking at that Java logo?
4:03 Its not micro USB becous not much Phones had it at the time. Its some old usb thing i dont know the namebut this was before Micro usb. Lots of old Samsung Phones use this. i had one to as a kid
To be fair if this came out back in the day and was cheap enough it’s a decent deal. Got to remember the iPhone had no App Store and didn’t rave videos. All you’d miss out on is the build quality, iPod function and the reliability 😂
You know this knockoff actually have potential maybe if you just modify it and make it so its less laggy and also make it run ios then its pretty decent.
I think it tells us a lot when we see a fake iPhone, running Android SW with fake iPhone OS skin... This is an awful 'product'... More like an e-waste than actual device..
