In my opinion, both Creaform and Shining 3D create good scanners, maybe the best of two manufacturers. A long run investment, besides hardware, you also need to consider the software maintenance cost and how easy you can get the support. Find one of their distributors around you and watch a demo. Experience the scanning process and see how they help you in your workflow. After that, I think you can make your decision. :)
