I personally think it's too big and kind of outdated look for today's mobile DJs with micro setups. It will work better for a permanent installation at a club, arcades, bars.
I recommend you add a link so we can buy it. If you become an Amazon affiliate, you actually can get 3% of the purchase price of this and then everything else they order on Amazon through your link.
Just ordered a set of Four! They look incredible on video so I know they blow you away in person. I have a ton of Staging Ideas in mind. Thanks for the information as always.
I hate these type of lights just like tube lights unless done well maybe mounted on truss , maybe backwards facing toward a wall or mounted to a ceiling or truss facing down on a dance floor.
I once saw a picture of these. I didn't realize how large the assembled fixture was. That's not a bad thing. I have worked some venues where there was some unutilized space and my mobile lights didn't quite cover everything. People using pavilions or old barns for weddings.
i got these and I do love them. but there are a couple of poor design choices made 1st. They should have made it way easier to attatch and detacth the two halves, there should be a simple click together mechanism, or even something using 4 bolts would be fine (not a dozen little screws). 2nd. you cant close the legs on it when using it, because the cross beam gets in the way of the power and DMX cables. 3rd. its just too long to fit in the back seat of a car, i think perhaps 6 panels would have been better than 7 (but if it was easeir to dissasemble this wouldnt be as much of an issue) 5th. blizzard have not come out with any carry bag for it yet, its very hard to find a bag the right size. (it looks like skii bags or snowboard bags are the only ones big enough) other than that ,i dont want to talk them down, though, because they are really cool .
These were out quite a few years ago in the UK, can’t remember who did them maybe adj or equinox. I nearly bought a pair but are a bit 80’s looking for my liking, ( best era for music tho 😂) Nice different look though.
Saw these at the local music store where they have a truss booth set up definitely for larger scale applications. I don't think mobile djs wanna lug around extra truss for 1 effect. Dj Rachel did a video about led totem that was simple put together place moving head on top and it did color patterns was light weight.
