As I said, it really depends on the lighting, the angle, a bunch of things. Sometimes I look at it and it definitely looks white...then other times, definitely silver. But it always looks nice :) Hope you are enjoying your new iPhone!
Just got my iPhone 8plus in silver and it’s 2020. It looks white. I love it, it’s beautiful and my clear case goes great with it. I love the 8 plus it’s sexy and still fast.
The color is really great. Some of the early hands on pics made it look greyer, but the actual units I've seen have been gorgeous. I had the matte black for the 7 Plus, so I wanted a change from black, though!
I am so stuck between silver or space grey, I keep changing my mind, I have a white 6s, and always thought I would stay with white cos I didn't like the old space grey colour but the newer one being more black is so nice :( Decisions...

I got the silver myself, and I love it. As for the size, I moved up from a matte black iPhone 7, and while it is larger and heavier, I'm getting used to it really quickly. Moreover, I'm liking the fact that I can see more at a glance on the large screen, and need to scroll less while browsing. I'd say keep it for a while and then decide. Also, the 8 plus is the only one with the better camera. :)
Im so awfully sad about rode gold being gone ):. I really really do not like the glass either. I knew it was going to be a problem too starting 2 years ago when everyone was complaining about not having wireless charging. Which i literally don't know a single person who uses it. The glass makes it look like a much cheaper product and more android like compared to the 7000 series Aluminum.
I've got to say...I love wireless charging! I never used it before, but now that I have an 8 Plus and a Note8, I use it all the time and it is so massively convenient...

Returned it :) The gold color just really displeased me after looking at it for 24 hours--I liked the color on the sides, but the beige on the back just didn't work for me.
I was disappointed when I opened my iPhone 8+ in silver because I like the look of the aluminum body wayyyyyy better than the sickly, dirty white color now being called silver by Apple. I expected that silver was going to be aluminum silver which I think looks sharp, but I didn’t know that you can’t use wireless charging with the aluminum body, so thanks for that info.
I saw the iPhone 8 for the first time in the apple store,and out of the three I like the gold the most because it is a unique cream/beige color. The other two are plan and boring to me. Overall,definitely not upgrading to the iPhone 8 until Apple gets their mind right and bring back pink/rose gold
I'm a guy and i picked up the new iPhone 8 Plus in gold. Really liking the cream white with a sparkle or rose gold in it. All the three new colors looks good though. Great video, always entertaining to watch your videos.

I hear you! Why in the world they discontinued the Rose Gold, I do not know. I have two theories: 1. The Rose Gold color did not play nice with the glass back and looked sub par; 2. They are bringing back Rose Gold as a mid year update...
silver looked amazing in person , def the silver , check it at the apple store or any other stores it is better in person , the gold is nice as well since it is more like rose gold but silver is the best.
I just gotten mines . I use to love Samsung galaxies but I’m in love with the iphones . I have to admit iPhone battery last twice as long , way much more storage space, it don’t over heat.. I have to say apple doing it big.
Love love loveeee it!!!!! So much cleaner looking then the “gold” lol. It looked like a white phone that my coffee spilled on!!! Of course that’s simply my taste and my personal preference. I’ve always only got the white and silver. Never any other colors for me. I LOVED my iPhone 4 and I’ve been wanting them to go back to that design ever since! This is the first time I did not preorder. Soooo I can honestly say. Thanks to your videos. I am literally signing off! And going to order my iPhone 8 Plus!!!! Thank youuu soooo much!!!!! I love the Iphone 8 plus 256gb in gold because the gold one is pretty and when you go to trade it in the gold one with the 256gb will get you the most money back.
All the colors are great--I think it just depends upon personal preference. The gold might get a better trade in value though, just because it is a new color this year... Thanks for watching!
I also thought that cream gold was funky looking😝. I think I’ll wait for mid yr color. Went to see them in Apple store and wasn’t really impressed with any of them. Sticking with my 7plus gold for now.
I just got the silver and regret it. I would advise anyone considering it to check it out in store first. It’s nothing like silver or white, it’s more like a very bland boring light grey. Each to their own though. Now can’t decide between the red or the space grey (which is more like black). None of the colours actually represent what they are called this year (except the red).

I’ve just got the iPhone 8 Plus today has I had the iPhone 6 Plus which has been a fantastic phone, I just wanted to upgrade and I got the 8 Plus for £270 which is a bargain wasn’t new it was pre owned. I got glass screen protector and a case, so I will be setting it up later. :)
I love the white one because its really pretty than the gold one and I'm so happy that im getting it now its January since i didn't get it for Christmas but i have to wait patiently :)
I liked the gold in other unboxing videos but in your video it does look more pink/beige than the other ones. I guess the color does change quite a lot depending on the lighting
Lighting is key, of course, and that color of gold really shifts a lot depending on the light. Sometimes it looks really nice...but a lot of the time, not so much, at least in my opinion. I'm really happy with the silver!
Super late this party but there's nothing classier than a crisp white phone. I have the gold and it really does look like a bandaid sometimes. I really wish they'd have done all white glass with the gold aluminum. The gold is still a very pretty phone, but case clashing is definitely an issue. Total first-world problem lol, but still. It only looks good with certain colors of cases, plus it just bugs me that the front doesn't match the back >:[

I have the gold and it’s much more beautiful than the silver. The silver bores me. The gold reminds me of a soft cinnamon. Love the gold. Also rose gold jewelry.
Black Roses yes i definetly agree! I feel as though the gold looks more premium and classy, i hated the gold and rose gold in the 6s, i feel as though they looked very tacky and quite childish, the colours for the 8 are a lot more subtle and mature. I still love the silver and space grey iphone 8, they are all beautiful but the gold to me is the most stunning, best colour apple has released in my opinion! suprised quite a few people don’t like it...but each to their own i guess
The Tech Reviewer the Rose Gold had a warm feel and I did appreciate it. I was a fan. As for the 8 and 8 plus phones, I must say that the glass backs make the phones look better- in my opinion.

I don't really mind the color because it's gonna be under the case anyway but I would get gold because I the color is pretty and the silver is too modern for my taste and that's not my style
I have the iphone 8 plus 256gb in all three colors and i bought them all out of my own pocket. unlike most youtubers that rely on ad revenue to buy their gadgets.
you should of bought the space grey instead of silver, the front of the phones you have are identical. the silver trim around the phone makes it look cheap.
