Bought this monitor, kinda new. At a local online store. Could not connect it to any of my phones (including the S22 Ultra). And to the type-c output from the ASUS TUF GAMING B550-PLUS motherboard. I had to buy an expensive Chinese no-name DisplayPort - type-c cable. With this cable I was able to connect the monitor to my GTX 1070 graphics card. But the connection was very unstable. I had to search for sequences of when, what to turn on in what order for the monitor to show the picture. I finally gave up and returned it to the store!
Got it used for 140$. I love it. Colors may not be top notch (45% NTSC) but it's really practical and it's 1080p. It's a great addition for someone who wants just more screen space on the go
Thank you for sharing. Because this product does not come with a power supply, that is what I am most concerned about. But your video solved my question.
Hi Thomas! Thanks for the review. Is the monitor just like any other monitor where you can adjust the display as well in the connected computer's settings? I see the black screen on the sides when connected to the computer, narrowing the display. But I suppose it's different if you choose "Exten screen" instead of "Duplicate".
Beware! Not compatible with all laptops, bought and planning to use with my one year old lenovo laptop. Funny enough it works with my Samsung phone but not my LENOVO laptop. Contacted their customer service and was asked to pay for driver to be downloaded to try. Very disappointed with Lenovo customer service, been a loyal customer to their product and this is how they handle.
