The Miele Compact C1 Pure Suction is ideal for hard flooring surfaces and minimum amounts of low pile or delicate area rugs / carpeting. This bagged canister vacuum comes with one dual function attachment which is operated by a toggle switch. This switch either retracts or pushes out bristles. Bristles out is for hard flooring, and bristles retracted is for low pile or delicate carpeting. The reason this tool can be used on delicate carpeting is it has NO spinning brush roll. This SBD 285-3 Combination Flooring attachment is Miele's answer for delicate carpeting.
Delicate carpeting is normally silk, wool or hand woven rugs. These rugs cannot be cleaned with a spinning brush roll, as it will damage their fibers. The Miele combination attachment eliminated this worry, as it will never damage your carpeted surfaces.
This compact machine means it's Miele's smallest canister body style, and therefor the lightest weight canister Miele makes. This machine weighs 10 pounds, and is completely sealed. Completely sealed machines are ideal for allergy and asthma sufferers. This machine comes with Miele's AirClean (base level) filtration, but can be upgraded to a HEPA filter at any point. If you wish to upgrade to a HEPA filter, please us the Miele SF HA 50 HEPA filter.
Have lots of hard flooring surfaces? You can easily add a parquet attachment to your machine. Choose from the Miele SBB 300-3 (12" in length) or the Miele SBB 400-3 (16" in length) attachments.
