Today we're unboxing the New DetectorPro / Grey Ghost Uniprobe Pin Pointer. First impressions of the unboxing. I plan to do more videos of the field testing. I do run into an issue with the plug, seems like there was a problem with the connector being the wrong size. Find out the details in the video!
Is this the most expensive pinpointer?
Excited about the main feature of this pinpointer and thats the ability to operate in complete silence!

I love the UniProbe! I was hesitant at first, but after using it a few days and getting used to it, I won’t go back to my old pinpointer.

Yeah unfortunately I haven’t been using these a lot because of the bulkiness. I also haven’t been in a lot of public places lately either. So they may be more useful later when the weather is better and more people are out. Thanks for the comment!

For me that thumb switch gone bad and other one for pinpoint sort of start going bad.

I wish they would build the Pocket Uniprobe in carrot shape. The Uniprobe is the best pinpointer, but unfortunately no longer up to date. Especially the Pocket Uniprobe never was a real outdoor device. More like something from a lab.

I am still using the pocket uniprobe that i bought in 2002. It has been unbelievably tough, even the switch is still working. Unfortunately they don't make them anymore. Which is a bummer because the new detectors have wireless headphones which i love. I have acquired a spare pocket uniprobe second hand in case my old one dies. Nothing i have used has compared with it in depth. And only the tip of the probe is sensitive. They didnt catch on back then i think because they were $200 over 20 years ago but i would have broke probably 10 carrots in that time. The only downside was the body was not waterproof.

@@phillipcollins5268 I am also using the pocket uniprobe (strongly modified) till today and also got a 2nd one on storrage. ;-) It seems it already was the maximum of what is possible in power and accuracy.
