Many moons ago I got the doctors bag for graduation from HS. The Speedy they call it now. Anyway I went to a private all girls college & there were some girls who lived overseas. Even back in the late 70’s they said the fake LVs were so good it was better to spend the money on high end Italian leather goods.
I think they could have done this so much better at that price point. A few simple details, adjustable chain so you can do shoulder or cross body. And a chain across the front so it can be a clutch at well. It's a simple stylish bag they could have knocked out of the park and they choose the money grab instead

LV is pricing their stuff for people making 7 figures now. I only make 6 and I’ve recently accepted that it’s just not a brand marketing to me anymore. If they won’t sell even a pouch for under $1k, I can’t afford to collect anymore. Realistically that’s a car payment, a weekend trip at a nice hotel, or even dinner and wine for two at a 3 star restaurant. For that price they can keep it.

Because there is just SOMETHING about LV Monogram 🤣🤣😂😂😂. I gave my 11 year old an option of a LV monogram Papillon and a Gucci bag. She picked the LV bag. I asked her why and she said there’s just something about the brown that looks beautiful, rich, and like it goes with a lot. She’s 11 dude 🤣🤣😂😂😂😂

If someone bought it for me I would return it...what a common thing....I get my own bag made by a bag maker and mine is unique. I choose the leather and clips,etc and design it and work with the bag maker to get the complete design.....nobody believes it was handmade and thought it was ready made. This is a bag so many fakes are around....got a purse and it's been in the drawer ever since I got it....you just reminded me...
Makes no sense when they used exactly that sort of hype with the original pochette in the early 2000s to overcome a bit of a crisis... and back then the pochette was a lot less expensive than this toiletry pouch.

I get the absurdity, but I still really want it. 😢😢😢 I just hope I can get to a place in my life where I can recover quickly from spending my next rent payment on a handbag. 😅❤
