Great question! I wondered myself if the lower cost would mean lower durability/quality... I still use it, often, and it's still in almost new condition! The cover is not faded or peeling... it's great! I am honestly a bit surprised, but definitely no complaints! Compared to the roll-out Kings awning I had on my old Hilux, it's chalk and cheese. No contest OCAM have absolutely nailed it. (If you watch my long term review video I did back in December, first thing I did was pull the awning out for a bit of shade 😎)

@Beavis-Nadz to be fair, it's more of a vid about the overall experience of the vehicle and van, but I do mention more OCAM stuff coming too

Thanks mate, I lost myself too! I assume you mean the bolts? Based on the OCAM instructions (really are not very good), you need the Rhino bolts... I could maybe have gotten away without them, but honestly I'd get them as they are designed for the rack and will secure it better.

Absolutely love it! It's been used quite a few times, and works well. Contemplating the walls next, but not sure I'll use them... if you do buy, let them know you saw my vid, have some more content coming soon with some other OCAM gear

So far, the awning has been top notch, used it every chance I get (often just people asking me about it, so I show them... 30seconds Max set up and pack down) adds a few inches height to the vehicle, I'll measure and let you know (worth noting I'm already much taller than standard with GVM upgrade and larger tyres, so undercover car parks and even my garage are no entry zones lol).

I’m running stock wheels and 2inch lift with rhino platform attached to the roof rails and still fit under 2.1m so deciding if this will sacrifice that ability!
