Today we're unboxing the original Smart Doll, Mirai Suenaga. This is the classic milk Smart Doll which has since been replaced with two other versions. It was such an experience unboxing Mirai. She is the reason smart doll exists at all. Starting as a mascot for Danny's website back in 2007, becoming a mascot for Japanese tourism, and finally launching the Smart Doll lineup. She is a piece of Smart Doll history and we are so happy to welcome her to the Court of Disdain!

I remember the "old" Mirai style and I think she was so cute! I love her older wig "the one with the braids" a lot more than the new wig that is shorter. I think Danny should have kept this longer wig for Mirai! Because it's the original and because it's the most beautiful! Thanks for this video that remembers me of what was the Culture japan's Website a long time ago. This Mirai is Amazing👍😉🥰 Can't wait to see what you would do with her! Bye☺

Loved seeing this original Mirai! I've been debating buying her from the CJ website or buying her original Milk version second hand. I'd really love to have the first original one. She's so special! So we'll see if I can find her!

I am obsessed with long hair. I love, love, love it! I'm currently trying to find a super long wig for my Crimson Kai. Hopefully down to its feet. I'm probably going to have to make one myself.

Yeaaaah. We love them so much though. Getting Mirai was part of the large lot we purchased and that had 4 dolls and a bunch of heads in it.

That is so cool seeing the OG Mirai Suenaga. I got into smart doll back in 2018 when I first saw them in Animenyc2018 and I knew I want to get one and it happen, Felicity(milk) was my first smart doll but then they multiple each year 😅

It’s neat to have OG Mirai. I was never a huge fan of her, but now that I have one I can see why she is loved. Of course that is the way with most SmD. You really can’t go wrong.

20:09 that culture japan logo looks a lot like the Matt Fractions Marvel's Hawkeye comic run from 2012. (and thus the logo from the upcoming 2021 hawkeye series). I wonder if Danny took any inspiration from that comic run or if it's just a coincidence.

Hi ya! Not so very long ago (weeks) I saw one of your videos. I have a doll collection but not any bjd.. until smart dolls! Now in very quick succession, somehow, I have two dolls!! My first was Monday - who arrived on Friday (15th Oct) and my second is Independence who arrived just a few days ago on Wednesday! How did that happen?! Also, I'm Pisces too🤗
