Your vision is coming together quickly for us watching, I’m sure not as fast for you. Lol. Congratulations and can’t wait to see the first honey ran through it!
Watching your son disassemble the crate putting the screws in the box and wearing gloves you have done a great job of teaching him and he has learned well.
@Richard Noel If the components are still bolted down to the Transport Pallets - Lay some boards down on the cement with pieces of steel pipe/rods on top to use as rollers. Then a few rollers under the pallet to start the move and push it onto the pre positioned rollers. Then roll it away to where you want it. We have moved 4m by 8m buildings using this technique. Making turns - not usually an issue. Lift the pallet a bit - turn the roller - line up a new board and your off again, Or just spin the pallet and reposition everything. The boards on the cement just eliminate any floor irregularities from causing issues. I agree with Ian Looks great.
You figured out how to open the lid to the extractor faster than we did! That electronic lock baffled us for a bit! We enjoyed watching your son help you unbox the extractor. Our 15 year old grandson flew into Seattle from the east coast of the USA when he heard that we had a large partially assembled machine to put together. Our setup is just like yours, honey rocket and all. Your business is going to change in ways that you don't even know yet. Your new honey house looks great.
Love that extractor drive Reeks of Royalty 🤴 lol cracks me up every time lol I like how there is no belting and I like it’s compact nature Room to expand, room to innovate
Did you see that beautiful fuse box ? I like the rocket wax - honey pump.. never worked with that piece of equipment. It all looks great quality, thick inox... like lan sad, good to have room to innovate around it in the future
I can understand your excitement. I am a bit like a kid in a sweet shop just like watching, dreaming maybe one day…! You are doing an incredible job with the build and as you say spending a little more time and effort now to get things in the right place will pay dividends in the long run! 🎉
Love to follow the progress. Mine will come next winter. Smaller operation. But it's comming 🥰 I follow closely to learn what turn out well and what might not fit me. Thanks for sharing all your thinking!
Looks brilliant Richard, you will have the best honey set up in France no doubt , you're still a young man with children that can help. I love to see that.. well done sir 👏 👍 🙌
I dunno what to say without repeating myself and sounding like a broken record, but I was smiling throughout the video :D I' cant imagine how nice it must feel to see all of this finally getting in place!
Hi Richard Very jealous it’s a bit bigger than my shed do you have someone that’s going to show you how to use your honey equipment or have you got to learn it from the manuals I bet you can’t wait for it to finished all the best from Nottingham
How are your bees Richard. Hope they are OK for you with all those hornets last year. Mine are really small this spring. Just starting to build brood with the hazel pollen coming in. What would you use to catch the hornet queens and now is the time right? Yeah worked out that one line from one queen all died, 9 in total. But a few had mother queens and daughter queens survive, so am breeding from them. Give that a shot this year.
By the way am happy for you that your son is getting involved too, you are getting through a mountain of work there. A big project, at least no more sloshy ice to contend with.
Wow! Thats amazing value considering the engineering and quality of metal involved, Richard the best of luck I genuinely hope you have every success! John
I get total jealous when I see how much money your bee keeping is generating. Building, total New equipment, and I bet you also have expensive wife. A life on the fast lane 🙂💰
Wish I could say I agree lol but beekeeping is expensive, it’s a sum Of money I’ve invested. And I am divorced and live very modestly!! Once it’s all gone, (and it’s nearly all gone) that’s it, but the investment should enable me to work more efficiently
I don't think Richard did it to get rich. He did it because he loves beekeeping and wants to grow and have more hives... and this is an enormous step forward to do the boring stuff fast.. and to have more time to do that part of beekeeping that we all love. Now, if he had to he could sell everything for profit... Richard, the equipment looks great.. can't wait to see what other plans with the bees you'll have now when this part is done
Some 10 years ago this company had bad reputatio with comunication.... newer get exact numbers what you order and did pay (bee hive parts, etc ) then they say...let call next week, then next week, now one answer.
I see you want to fill barrels directly from the pump. Your extractor is going to discharge so much honey you will want to pump into a lager holding tank. This is what my bet is…
Please promise to get out more when youv finished building, 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣a fuse box is not beautiful, well made, well designed but Richard defo not beautiful 😂😂😂😂😂
