I don't even play guitar, or any sort of musical instrument. I just like watching obsessive people nerd out over stuff they like. It's endlessly entertaining. Cool channel btw, you seem like a good guy.
I play guitar, thats partially why im here but i totally get what youre saying. I love watching restoration videos but have no knowledge of how to restore
@@landonbailey Yeah it is. And we don't have like Guitar Centre or Reverb like places here where you can play and test these guitars.... so... you like... gotta hope you'll get what you think is coming.
I got the bass version of this pack last year. It came with the PJ Bass, a 15 watt amp, a gig bag, cable, and a strap. The amp is pretty solid and the bass itself was great.
Starter guitar packs have come a long way. Yeah there are things to improve, but that still looks way better than beginner guitars I remember (I'm old). Also, glad this'll be a giveaway, for sure I'll be entering for my 11-year-old son - it could be his first guitar/amp!
Your a Legend bro, im a beginner and wasnt sure if this was it for me, but after watching this last night, not only was I sure I wanted this, but i ordered one at nearly 4am, it's coming in Monday. Thanks for helping me make my dreams come true my bro. I appreciate Legends like you. 👍🏻👑🍻
It looks great, sounds decent and with a little love could be someone’s start on the journey to making music. It so nice to see a YT guitarist who isn’t reviewing ‘my new vintage guitar’ or $250 pedal. Some of us have families to feed and never get to buy that kind of gear. And honestly, you don’t need it. If you can’t make music on a Squier Strat, you’re doing it wrong. Dude, you are so refreshing...low key, real reviews peppered with dad jokes. Hope your 2021 is as great as your jokes are bad!
i'm a brand new sub from a few videos ago for the les paul giveaway and i swear you've made me chuckle more than some of these other comedic guitar youtubers i've been subbed to forever. happy i found this channel
I got one for my son and after further inspection, I noticed the frets were sharp and needed some work. So I rounded out the frets with a dressing file and conducted a proper set up and intonation. Now she plays like a Fender Strat! My son couldn't be happier.
Landon do really enjoy your videos, and your reviews seem a lot more honest than some others I have watched. And your playing is getting better as every video goes by, keep up the good work.
Glad to see you worked up a sweat. It's good for you. If I'm not mistaken , one difference between Affinity and Bullet is the logo on the headstock. Gold -- Affinity. Black -- Bullet. Can't wait for your Mustang review. Just got one ( Bullet). Very nice guitar. Tip for stringing these: Before running the string through the hole on the saddle , shape the string end into a hook shape so when it passes through the hole it will be sticking up and very easy to grab. It's still a bit painstaking that way but it does make it easier.
I just got a Squier Bullet Tele and am also very impressed by the neck compared to other guitars in their price range and also other Squiers I've played. Very smooth. No harsh fret edges.
My first guitar came from this set! I got a black strat with the Squier amp plus. The cable that came with it died within a year but besides that everything was great. My neighbor is a punk guitarist and switched out my single coil bridge pickup for some hot rails then I put an OD pedal in the amp and honestly love the sound. But I am planning to get a Marshall amp to replace it sometime.
@@landonbailey i’m really considering buying one of this for my first electric or one of the donners which one do you prefer, and yes i know they are not the best quality but I’ll modify them as a i go
I'm eyeballing that TV Yellow Epiphone Les Paul on the wall Landon. It wants to come to my house and play with a couple of Epiphone cousins and some Fenders and Yamaha's that live here! 😁👍
Nice box, throw a guitar in it and make me a winner already, we can smell that Canadian maple from here, does the package come with a roady, that amp looks like a back breaker, especially after the neighbors here me play through it. 🤣👍
Those little amps actually aren’t too bad when plugged into a decent 1x12. I repaired one a few years ago and tested it through a good cab, night and day from the stock speaker.
Fender 2012 catalog lists the guitars that came in packs like that a SE. Older guitars from those packs sell for not a lot and make great mod platforms with full thickness bodies and 43mm nuts. On rare occasions a SE slipped out of the AXL factory with a super nice flamed maple neck.
The plan you have on giving away every month is amazing and youre heart is very big. Youre not just giving away because of your achievements but because you really really want to get back to your subscribers ! Thank you Landon.
Bullet Strats are fantastic project guitars. I got a used Indonesian made non-trem HSS one for $60 USD. Upgraded with Zero Glide nut and Hipshot locking tuners. It plays fantastic now with a mild set up and is super light. I might upgrade the pickups one day, but I'm in rush to do so.
i have watched you for about 4:00 and you sir got 1 more subscriber ... so far because of your humour! ( ofcourse i love anything guitar so that helps but lots of channels got that) but your humour is something i like alot you made me laugh multiple times in 4 minutes A+ sir (1 main thing that what makes it so funny to me is that your not trying hard to be funny... like 1 guitar youtuber in particular) i get the sense your just being yourself which is awesome
Landon I'm watching your video while watching the Red Wings at Dallas. The game is tied after 2. I don't need another Bullet because I have a white HT and I like it a lot. Keep up the good work.
All the Squiers and Fenders come with a 3 month trial to the Fender Play lesson program. I think it would be cool to hear your review of this program. I for one like it .
I know almost nothing about electric guitars. Is the main basic sound of guitar a "rock style" or do I have to setup the amplifier for certain kind of music/sound? For example if I want to try playing a funky style of music like Nile Rodgers? Do I have to buy the pedals/effects or setting the amplifier right will do the job? Thank for answering my stupid questions.
