This is really well I got it offline. The NC isn't the best but it does cuts off most of the sound including heavy rain (except loud ones like loudspeakers and someone shouting in front of you). Build quality is better than I thought, it doesn't look that good online but when I saw it offline it was heavy built and looked premium and I tried the microphone and my voice had no issues. It sounded beautiful on the other side
Hello, Paul. I don't usually write comments on RU-vid but I just wanted to say that this is by far the best review I have found for these headphones. I really appreciaty all the work you put to make the video in order to show us everything about the product. Great job!
Thanks Paul. This video came in just in time. I just made the purchase. A correction - you mentioned the price as INR 5999 but on the JBL website the price is actually INR 6999. On amazon the price is INR 5999.
@@PaulsPOV thanks. During a call how do I turn on ANC? When I make a call the ANC turns off automatically and the apps says "you can't use this feature during a call". EDIT: I turned off Voice Aware and then was able to use it.
Bro, God has a sense of humor. I tested out the headphones on a Teams call with 4 kids playing in the background in the adjacent room. The NC worked well, didn't eliminate the "noise" completely but did suppress it. Happy with the results, then I headed to test audio on youtube. The first video that showed up was "A Quiet Place: Day One". :)
Hello Paul bhaiya i am planing to buy a headphone at around 6k... i am bit confused between JBL tune 770NC and sound core Q20i. I am looking for the one which has better sound quality, comfort and ANC. i would really appreciate you could help me out ASAP.
Thanks for this review, Paul. I just purchased these headphones to replace Bluetooth wireless Beats that physically fell apart - very cheaply made! I like this model's adjustability/control and trust JBL for, at minimum, decent quality and build sound. Liked and subscribed.
@@Interstellar108 i got the soundcore q20i over jbls, mainly because it was 500rs cheaper, And I've tried both jbls and soundcore, and the soundcore is bass heavy, so it needs some custom tuning, whereas the jbls sound more open (not necessarily better) right out of the box
Brilliant review Paul, the best video I've seen, I just l bought the JBL 770 Headphones last night and will get them soon👍👍 your video has given me an insight into the headphones before I even get them🤣🤣 so I thank you for taking the time and effort to make your videos.. Anyway peace and love from Scotland.. And yeh Paul you never know what country people are from that are tuning in to your channel🤔🤔😂😂😂 👌✌️👍
Overall Good, but you need to adjust your ears to fit in, sometimes find annoying, cushioning is great yet feel warm in longer use. Battery is great. ANC is 90%. I got it in offer in dubai so happy. 😊@@harshu42277.h
@@anishpaunikar6234 aren't there existing presets in the app?, try them out and do let me know as your opinion means a lot to me since I'm planning to buy them😉
Thank you so much Paul! Finally I found a detailed review covering all aspects of this tune770. I was confused before, but yesterday I bought one from Amazon @4799 after watching your review. My budget was 5K and I wanted one over-the-ear from JBL/ Sony. This one fulfilled my heart. AmbientAware-NC-TalkThrough modes works very well, and that button serves the job perfectly. I got to know from configs, that multi point connection works only with two android devices with the same google account logged in. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Hi Paul, thanks for a great review. I have a question, how is it comfortable wearing it with eyes glasses? do the bass frequencies get lost in the process? Since the earbuds from the glasses do not allow them to fit properly to ears.
I've worn them with my glasses on for all my testing. I didn't have any issues, really. The memory foam cushion tend to press over my glasses' stems and create a pretty good seal. If you're concerned about leakage of sound, the Live 770NC does have leakage compensation, which tends to elevate the lower range slightly so you don't feel like you're losing that range.
No these are not audiophile grade. Audiophile level means you're looking at studio grade stuff. Look at brands like Beyerdynamic, Audio technica, AKG and so on. Preferably wired stuff.
hey paul i got a question how would you compare the jbl tune 770nc to the skullcandy hesh anc? i wanted to get the skullcandy for its bass heavy sound, design and tile feature but i ended up buying the jbl tune 770nc for its battery life, better anc and better sound profile. i personally like heavy bass for music but i like listening for extended periods of time so i need your opinion, did i make the right choice?
Considering you want to listen for longer sessions it should be good since it doesn't cause fatigue in the bass. JBL has tuned these with a prominent sub bass than a mid and upper bass tweak. The Live variant has more of a kick in the upper and mid bass which I find can be on the fatiguing side. I prefer the Tune variant. Then again, I'm not really a bass enthusiast. I've done a compressed between these two headphones. Feel free to give it a watch if you'd like to.
I've got my reasons for not rating products, but I'd say they're alright. They certainly don't perform like premium headphones, but they get the job done well. Check out the chapter on ANC. Demo provided.
That's something I have to do. Once my ears fit into the pads, it's more comfortable. The Live 770NC has wider pads, so it doesn't need that adjustment whenever I put them on.
Hey, i bought these headphones yesterday. I have a question. Why when i select ambient button on headphones, a woman says Ambient mode on. Could my headphones be fake, because as far as i remember they should make a beep sound.
I ordered Sony wh ch520 and cancelled op buds 3. Thought I would go for a headphone now so was Sony the right decision for 4K rupees?? And yes I refuse anc by my choice 😅
I have been using the Wh-Ch520 for more than a year . And these are the best headphones under 5k or even 10k. Fully satisfied with the output also Wavelet makes it cherry on top.
@@prasujya3161 I have the same worry, I haven't tried on ear headphones in like 5 years. So don't remember how it felt. How long can you use the headphones for before it gets uncomfortable?
I am looking for an Headphone with Best ANC under the price bracket of 6-7k I am stuck with this JBL one and Edifier W820nb Plus. Which one should I go for? Or is there any other model that I am missing. I am okay with even the wired ones.
I haven't tested the Edifier or many other headphones in this price range just yet, so I can't really point you in any other direction. Wired wise, there's some good stuff in a higher price range, but here I'm not too sure about.
I've had a few people comment the very same thing. I haven't experienced that. If you don't listen to music at high volumes, these should be fine for you. These get loud past 50% onward anyway. I usually don't go that high myself.
Tune 770NC are the worst. Terrible build quality defects in them. I have faced this myself and have seen a lot of customers worldwide complaining about the rotational joint breaking off by itself. To top it all, JBL's terrible policy doesn't provide any repairs/replacement.
@@Patriotic_Hindu I've been used it daily for my 5-6+ hrs of study and 1.5 hrs of gym. The cushioning is very soft and in excellent condition even after the rough use
@@ayanlallapps damn man I have the same activities to do. Thank you very much for your feedback. I can finally make sure to buy these. Thanks brother 🤝
I bought them, I'm used to earbuds instead... There is no normal mode? I cant have the nc turn on all day and ambient awareness is kinda weird sksks I can hear my footsteps on both modes tho , can It be avoided? Good review
Hey Paul!, awesome video! I've a question though: my 770nc does not seem to work as you shown for calls... The other party hears a lot of background noise, but I do not hear that noise because of ANC... Is there any particular setting yo review?, headphone 's version is 2.7.0 and says it's up to date... Thanks! Edit: it's worth mentioning that the app says ANC is unavailable during calls... Not like the app you are showing... Maybe something changed?...
@@PaulsPOV brother❣️ if i only want iem for movie and music then iem your suggestion remain same..... I am new too iem brother....... I am using realme bud 2.....
Am using this headphone, everything is good but that ear pads degrade easily not good for the Indian climate,my ear pads completely became disastrous with in 3 months of usage,I contact JBL they respond any way don't know about the service.
Usually, microphones get disconnected when you plug a cable into headphones. It'll work when you're using it wirelessly. When the wire is in, your phones microphone will pick up.
Do you think I should buy the live 660 or the tune 770? There is a difference between prices in my country. If there is not much difference between sound level and bass level, I will buy tune 770.
I don't usually write comments on youtube, but I gotta say that Paul have the best review of this headphone. I appreciated every detail in the video, it helped me decided to buy it! Thanks for your honesty about the features that work/don't work. Well done, Paul!!! Keep up with the good work! PS: watching this video again with my new JBL tune 770NC. I'm loving it!!
brroo pls review the new iems from the headphones zone and fiio collaboration!!! esp the usb c variant that has inbuilt dac and the dsp for 5 tuning signatures!!
