Unboxing the tier 1 Axis Elite for my new EDC. The UltiClips come in clutch when you are wearing basketball shirts. My summer carry is now ready! Follow me on Instagram: Tacticallyaverageyt
My guy, I spent 3 days and 100 tacticool videos later looking for an average guy straight forward review of these. 😂 thank you! Looking for same 365/holster combo. Nice job man. Clips are good mention too. Didn’t know about them till your video.
Great review, I know this video was put out a year ago but it’s still relevant. Kore belts are awesome, once I found them I haven’t used anything since, think I’m up to 5 of them now for different situations / looks. Ulticlips work great and the T1 axis is an awesome holster.
That click from drawing and reholstering just sounds super positive. I have one of these for my G19 with a Olight PL Mini... and even then, it holds on really decently
Nice Video ! Its one of the holsters I am definately looking at. The Ulticlips are awesome. They can be used behind the belt also, (with a tucked in shirt over the gun and holster) It was very nice that you showed us, yourself wearing it. The size of the holster doesn't look as bad as I thought. Thanks.
Got mine for my Glock 43x I was definitely beyond impressed holster is well worth the money wasn’t a big fan of the wedges but I’m leaning on buying a couple to try it out really good video
Great video! I’ve never heard anyone mention wearing a plaid shirt to assist in concealing a gun, but it definitely helps! I’ve also never heard anyone talk about having to move a belt buckle to the side, but it makes sense! Thanks!
Good review! Waiting on my T1 as I watch this. 😊👍 I have been using those stick on felts that go on bottom of chair feet as DIY wedges - and they work LoL ... but I did order the T1 wedges now that it's a thing haha
Kinda glad you demonstrated the clips with those joggers, they look just like my American eagle joggers so it’s pretty ideal to have a holster that doesn’t require a belt. I own one pair of jeans🤣
Great video👍, I’ve been looking for this video and RU-vid would never bring it up for me when I searched it and now it randomly pops up on my recommended😂
Those wedges make a huge difference. I got the pack as well with my Tier 1 and ended up using the whole pack on various holsters for different handguns.
Hyago, you place the wedge on the inside of the holster. Maybe try a different size. Where he's gonna put the wedge(the front) he needs a claw not a wedge.
Great review. If you are interested check out the phylster enigma chassis system for your summer carry. It’s quite an innovation on concealed carr,y concepts.
You made a good choice staying away from t-rex. They use a very generic concealment claw made of kydex and it might as well not exist. If you want fast access and dont care about printing then trex is fine.
Tier1 makes a great product, but I just replaced mine with a phlster enigma express…. GAME CHANGER! Still use a wedge though. Went for a run this morning in gym shorts and had no movement. Also, it makes using a public restroom 1000x easier
What’s your opinion on the wethepeople holsters? I got my first one for m18 and it Carries like shot obviously because it’s so big, but i have nothing to compare the holster too lol. Was thinking about getting a tier1 or eclipse holster with an ulticlip for my new shield plus
Buddy, Thoroughly enjoy your channel. HOWEVER, YOU MIGHT WANT TO DUMP YOUR LIBERTY SAFE SIR. I agree with others who mention that - never thought of wearing plaid to break up your body line.
Problem that I had with my uni clip 3+ is my holster was able to move left to right and I found with wearing a belt that the belt would eventually get pushed up towards the grip and there wouldn't be any access inbetween for my fingers. Lmk if anyone else has had this happen
Kore Belt is the best. Example why. I was working in the yard yesterday, and my pants were drooping just a little bit. So I grabbed them and lifted them to the proper height. Then grabbed the left and right sides of the belt and just pushed my hands toward each other to tighten the belt. The other thing about the belt is its construction. This belt, now for 4 years has not gotten all screwed up from daily sweat from construction work. I hang a tool pouch with a metal belt clip 5 days a week and the belt just keeps doing a great job. And when I put holsters on it is always perfect. Kore is an excellent belt you get so much value.
Had to sub! Question, when you sit down is this bearable? Looks like it might sit high on the stomach causing some pain. I like the idea of it but not sure if the sitting/crouching will hurt too much
Nice review man, I love my Tier One holster! They may take a minute to get to you, but it’s worth the wait. I’ve wanted to try the ulticlips, but I carry a full sized gun. It would be too heavy for basketball shorts, or sweats anyway.
Quick, this man needs some gents to help him justify his next purchase! Everyone needs a compact/sub compact. I also learned last month that I needed a new GP100 and a shoulder holster. Still trying to figure out why but I feel much better.
@@6.5mm_is_the_best_mm Oh yeah I love CZ. I carried a P07 for about a year before I got my P01. The P01 was what I wanted to begin with, I’m glad I bought it. I should have bought it sooner lol.
Ok, so I've always wondered how people carry with gym shorts and sweat pants even though UltiClips are used. Thanks for this. I can never find a video actually demonstrating it. Seems like it would still be "heavy" and flop one way or the other or sag the waistband. I guess the drawstrings must have to be really tight. Therefore I need different or new clothes cause mine didn't do like yours.
I’m thinking about getting a Glock 43X MOS. I’ve already ordered a Teir1 Concealed Axis Elite with the EZ ADJUST CLIPS for my Glock 19MOS Gen5; I have about 2-3 more weeks before it comes.
Great video!! One question. Did you order this holster with ulticlip option selected, or did you add those to the cart separately? I am selecting ulticlips for the holster but want to know if Tier 1 adds the original belt clips as well.
Seems like a layer of fabric or neoprene would make these more comfortable against the body. I guess that would absorb sweat. Maybe neoprene attached with Velcro so it could be removed and washed?
I wish they would update their website to be able to see examples of what the holsters look like in every color combo but it doesn’t seem like they care because I’ve seen the same suggestions in their channel videos from years ago
Couple questions, Would you be able to tell me if the extended mag caddy will work with the 10rd mag with the pink extension? And have you had any issues with the ulticlips wearing away fabric on your gym shorts or sweats? I read somewhere that the ulticlips could chew away at clothing because of how tight the clips hold onto your clothing. Thanks for the great video!
Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately I live in a state where they can’t make up their minds on whether or not to ban magazines that hold more than 10 rounds. So I’d like to get the extended mag caddy if the 10 round mag will still click into the extended mag holster - that way if I use the high cap mag, it’ll still conceal like normal. Does the 10 round mag still click into place with the extended mag holster? Hope this makes sense.
I’m looking at the exact same set up: Axis Elite with Kore Essentials belt. Why doesn’t it work to have the buckle in the front? Does it look too bulky or are the clips too close together?
Probly because he's doesn't have a belt on. And also I take that thing off anyway, the swivel makes for a great formed conceal by itself. I only like the claw on 1 piece holsters
