Very Nice! I'd say that's an excellent deal, even after converting to US dollars. You are correct, the hex receivers are more desirable. Did I notice painted over brass end caps on the upper handguard of the first one? If so that's more rare. They switched over to blued steel more into WWII. I remember buying my Mosin in 2010. I paid $99...BTW, how can you tell it's counter-bored? Thanks for sharing, looking forward to the next video.
Thanks for the comment ! I'll check on the handguard. To see if your mosin is counterboard it's easy, there's two ways. First, if you have a 7.62×54r round, do the bullet test on the muzzle. If it swallows past the neck it's counterboard. If you don't have a round lying around, just look at the rifling with a flashlight. If you can't see any rifling at the end, and it's very dark, it's more than likely than the rifle is counterboard. 99$ for a mosin seems impossible today unfortunatly ! That was a smart purchase
