I agree with you Jim. Sometimes i will look at a magazine and wonder if i should press it but I clean and press it always anyways. As Corporal Hicks said in Aliens when they were wondering if they should nuke the planet to kill the aliens: "It's the only way to be sure". Keep up the great content.
I’ve pressed over 10,000 pieces in my career. I’ve probably only seen 2-3 that I didn’t think pressing would help, and they were all brand new, right off the newsstand, and all square spines! No staples. “If you care about the grade, get it pressed!” - I should make t-shirts.
Yeah, Mariano was the best. What really annoyed me was how they use him. In a key games when the Yankees had a 1 run lead in the 8th you'd be thinking we better tie it up in the 8th then you see Mariano come out & through two shutout innings. When a game was really close Torre had no problems pitching him two innings. Sure he was available the next game, but often the next game wouldn't be as close.
