YOU USE THE SMALLER DRILL BIT FOR THE FRONT HOLES OF LOCKING BLOCK! Just look at the pin in the front of your frame with the HL1, it's the same size as the rear grip pin so you'd use same drill bit...... you need to use finished frame in jig to drill holes into jig from inside out.
Yes, it's called throw it in the garbage, will never come out right and the bridge removal weakens the frame itself and will shatter on the recoil of the slide!
If you can do a update im trying to get back into these after everything died down again and man the og frames were way better i can see a big difference they added a bunch of plastic but nothin precise building nd patience cant take care of
i bought a PF940Cv1 and i cant find any rails for it except for rook tacticals but i cant find any reviews or how they fit or even if they fit and whats the difference between PF940Cv1 and PF940C my first build btw any suggestions
I would say find the rails that are silver and not black cuz the silver are the upgraded ones and match the rail set to your frame name some sites sell them separate and together so you jus got to look but there out there but the two models are based on 2 diffent Glock frames I know the 40 is based on Glock 40 and g40c is the compact one
@@practicalcivilian3259 and so is there any actual difference between the pf940c and the pf940cv1 because it says there both Glock 19 frames just tryna find the difference between both if there is any
@@practicalcivilian3259 well I looked around and apparently they are both the same thing ig we will see because I bought a pf940cv1 bridge frame and a pf940c jig
Again...thanx for the reply...im not good with technology but i got an email from you. This is my first build and im currently in NJ where they have this state on lockdown. Im originally from Philly and the administration there has the city locked down with the mail crap so its difficult for me to get frames. Also...i have a jig coming in the mail and with the 76% it doesn't have that front pin but i have a thought...i was wondering if i can bounce it off of you for your thoughts. If you choose, respond at your earliest convenience.
Mannnnn, I'm trying to learn up on these before i dive into trying to complete the new model frames I just ordered and I just keep getting angrier and angrier lmfao. looks totally doable but I just know I'm going to completely fuck up at least one of them. How difficult was it to mill out the locking block section and trigger group? Did you ever end up finding a solution for getting that front pin drilled as well? Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated. ATF really needs to calm tf down.
Thanx for the reply, my name is Brian, I don't know why it's coming up as...user-ts2q...but my question was if your frame came with the correct rails? I believe you bought the frame from the same company as I did but the rails that came with mine were for the pf940cv2, which are longer than the rails for the pf940c, so I had to spend an additional $65.00 for the correct rails because P80 don't have any for pf940c, which is the frame I own.
@@Bgr8full83 I believe eBay sells the right rails for like 30 bucks I have found them on a few web sites but they should have corrected your problem for free
Honestly with a jig. And a plastic block and or even without the jig. I’m pretty sure I could machine this with a micrometer. Like carve a lower completely out
All the lollygagging at the front of the video automatically canceled out once you got straight to the point which is what most people want we don't need internet characters just get to it
