I enjoy my 2022 ghost bucket. I was super excited about getting him, but as an adult, I had to keep the excitement down. Many people complain about no lid, but if I want a cookie cutter, I can always go out and buy a ghost cookie cutter next year. Besides, did I ever use the lid when I went Trick-or-Treating? No I didn't. And I like the three faces on my ghost bucket 2022. Sure, the 2022 version has no lid or no cookie cutter, but it is happy childhood memories for me, and I got my McBoo ghost pail from McDonald's back. And I enjoy him very much. He can still hold quite a few treats, and if ppl want a lid so badly, go to eBay and get one. Or check out Goodwill next Halloween. As for me, I enjoy my 2022 ghost bucket, and I'm glad I have him back.
Yeah I want a vintage one too but I was still very happy to get my Son and I matching Boo Buckets this year. I also got a McPunkin one too but I gave that one to my Mom so she would have more decorations for Halloween 🎃
🤠 yeah, I so remember these big time. These great times back then. I used to love going to McDonald's and getting all this stuff, oh yeah I did. It's been years since I ate at McDonald's and I don't even know if they still do this type of stuff yet. I think the last time I eat out at McDonald's probably was back in 93 or 94. Thanks for putting this up, I appreciate it and I enjoy it
McDonald's doesn't do a whole lot of this stuff anymore. They got rid of their characters like the McNugget Buddies a long time ago, mostly after the documentary Super Size Me when the company started getting a lot of heat for marketing their unhealthy food directly to children with all their Sesame Street-esque mascots. So Ronald and his gang got banished to the Shadow Realm, and Happy Meal toys don't get much promotion anymore. Seems like whenever I go to McDonald's nowadays, their Happy Meal toys are some assortment of Hot Wheels cars with the occasional licensed toys from a movie or show like the Minions from Despicable Me. However, they ARE bringing back the Halloween buckets this year for two weeks only, from Oct. 18-31. I guess they wanna tap into the nostalgia for them. They haven't been officially announced, but internal memos and even some images of the buckets got leaked online last week.
