Unboxing of a purchase of Japanese vintage Star Wars Toys! With blurry photos and bad information... I'm taking a gamble on if these figures are really the rare Japanese Takara Variants. I won't know until I open the box!

It's common to see R2-D2 turned backwards in people's displays, but the picture of R2-D2 on that box is backwards. The body is anyway. Very nice figures!

Honestly wish all these figures had no value or hardly any. I have some because I loved them when I was a kid. Having them brings back those childhood memories. But don’t care anything about grading or making money from them.

Most of the Kenner line loose (no accessories) can run $5-10 each... Even with accessories $10-20. It still is a line that is easy and fun to collect as long as you don't go down the rabbit hole of rare variants or high end graded figures...

Gotta admit, I like those ESB figures boxes. But why do those Takara figures need a screw in the back?

Manufacturing at Takara is all or mostly around "Screw" it together. The Kenner Star Wars figures were all sonic welded (Vibration merge the plastic).
