I literally had a nightmare last night that I had ordered a rainbow high doll and when I got her she was a really badly made knock off.. Her makeup was melting.

My rule for buying on eBay is to only order if there’s a photo they have taken themselves and don’t order from China as stuff coming from there are notorious for knock off stuff

My grandma would buy me these dolls called Miss Flair, in the 90s. The dolls were awful, but the accessories were cool. Once, she gave me a whole box stuff with them, they were neat, but cheap.

My mom almost bought a fake lol surprise doll back in the beginning when that one video warning you about fakes was being advertised. She went to a mall and went to one of those small toy shop things. She saw an LOL surprise and was going to buy it for me. Except, it said LQL, not LOL. She asked the person managing the stand if it was a new type of LOL doll. My mom ended up not buying it, so hooray, I didn’t get a fake.

So was it Amazon or Ebay for the last doll because you mentioned both? I would definitely complain if I was sent a fake doll when all the images were of a legit product. I would not be a happy bunny at all.

The Ice cream had me Laughing really hard my sides hurt now.

I bought what I thought was two real Scruff-a-Luvs from Amazon and they turned out to be a fakes. The person used pics of the authentic toy so I believed it to be the real deal, but nope - were fake. Still the quality was not terrible tbh, and they were actually pretty cute, but obviously nothing beats the true product. Love your videos so much 🥰

Oh nooo! I am so sorry this happened to you with cosmic nova! I had a similar situation... Around ayear ago I have ordered Lady Diva for only £17.00!! Obviously the listing images were of a legit doll, but when I got the parcel it was obviously a fake doll and I kid you not, I was so mad I literally ended up destroying the doll plus left a horrible review on the sellers account. There went my money!

I think the only thing that fake dolls are good for is a good laugh. 🤣

One time my mum's friend bought her kids these horrible Frozen rip off dolls from the corner shop when the first movie had come out, they weren't even sculpted to look like Anna and Elsa they were just the Barbie knock-off doll mould with frozen clothes made out of the cheapest papery material, naturally they had the stick thin arms and legs with the massive thigh gap and had massive bald patches. The funny thing was they looked more like Anna and Elsa in my opinion than the official dolls that Mattel released for Frozen, I hated the Mattel Frozen dolls so much they looked nothing like the characters. Thank God the license got given to Hasbro.

Oh! I remember winning a fake doll once. At a Mall Arcade. She was disguised a Chelsea doll, and innocent little 10 year old me thought I was winning an actual Chelsea for my barbies since I thought they needed a little sister. Ended up getting this little chinese knock off with a cheap paint job, pink hair with a bald head underneath, as usual and a red fairy costume. I didn't mind her as a kid actually since well, coming from a poor household, I was never one to be ungrateful when it came to my dolls or toys since I didn't even have many barbies until we finally reached middle class status, and even then, going to the toy alley in our Walmart equivalent and picking out a new Barbie to join the family was always considered a treat. But when I got older I had no idea what to do with her. So around earlier this year or so when I found her and debated whether or not to throw her out, she eventually gained new life as my first doll customization project. A little purple fairy I named Lulu after the League of Legends character. Redid everything on her by scratch . Including dying up pink acrylic yarn with Purple acrylics and rerooting her with a full head of thick dark purple(albeit it thanks to Acrylic paint,stiff) plaits, complete with flowers sewn into it. Painted her lilac,with little freckles and kinda dopey eyes given she's my first custom and it was a pain painting on such a tiny and poorly sculpted face for the first time. And ofcourse, I threw away her original cheap costume that felt like it was made out of gift plastic, wings first since the wings were broken anyways, sewed her up a new one out of pink and purple cotton and blue organza complete with a purple butterfly I used to decorate my room for snap on wings. Bedecking this poor little Chelsea knock off on beads and bells all the way. Just, generally used what I already had on hand. And, now I'm extremely fond of her. She's currently standing on my desk shelf now and to this day, one of my proudest accomplishments is the three months I spend converting a chinese knock off Chelsea into my personal Dollightful-isc art project since I can never bring myself to ever throw away a doll. Even a knock off one.

One time, I bought the whole set of "Hollywood Legends Wizard of OZ Barbies" and when they came, they were these random creepy little.... i don't even know how to describe it!! It was like those troll dolls but also a rip off Monster High doll..... basically like a ugly baby bird that wasn't fully formed..... but plastic????? They came with the Ruby slippers tho..... AHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAAHH never buy things without checking 1st!!!!!!

In my Barbie world other collectors have referred to knock off dolls as clones. I have a few and I love them because they are part of Barbie and Fashion doll history. I’ve been collecting for 30 years and you inspire me! Maybe I’ll try and do a few videos on some of my Fashion doll clones. One I have that is interesting to me is a very cheaply made Stacie clone, but she’s bald, and packaged as a Fashion Queen with wigs. I’ve also got a My Scene clone and a 70s TNT Barbie face mould, talking side ponytail type hairdo with a filmy swimsuit outfit with really, really cheaply made body with mod design box. I think they’re fun! Great video!! 💗

These seem much better quality than the fakes I see in New York dollar stores with crush able hollow thin plastic bodies and legs... That last one I actually might buy as like a cheap stocking stuffer or toy just to keep a visiting relative busy...if it was dollar store price though... It seems really messed up to deceive ppl to get more money then it's worth

I think that the little Anna is like Anna when she was younger in some scenes of frozen 2. And the bigger Anna is the adult version.
