I treated myself to the ultimate plant purchase experience. I found some of my wishlist plants online and decided to treat myself.
In this video, I'm sharing 7 plants I purchased online from two different online nurseries. Watch as I open each beautifully wrapped plant and squeal with delight. If you are looking for healthy common plants, some hard to find gems, and some rare plant....did I say HEALTHY?....please consider shopping at either one of these retailers. 10/10 would recommend both shops. Delivery was quick (both told me what the processing time would be, so no surprises). All the plants were delivered healthy and pest free.

Hi, Yvette - big fan of Gabriella Plants, glad you found them. Their customer service IS awesome. After many wonderful purchases, had one little issue with one plant, and it was replaced immediately and there was follow up to make sure the replacement plant was okay. You chose some really gorgeous plants (all plants are spectacular!😉, no matter how "common") - congrats on the new babies! Looking forward to watching all their progress. 💚👏🏽🪴👏🏽💚

Thank you so much Lisa! Yes, I'm a huge fan of Gabriella. Ed's plants were nice and healthy too, but the experience with Gabriella is top notch...without the prices being over the top. TBF, both shops had good prices. I will definitely order from both of them again. Updates coming soon....just know, I'm putting one of these babies to work on the pole...lol. Thanks for watching.

I think the discoloration on the back of your silver hero leaves is edema. I get that on the back of my Scindapsus after I water it sometimes only on certain leaves.

Hey Daisy....thanks for the tip... is the discoloration from edema on your leaves temporary? Mine actually went away a few days later...I was stressn'. lol. Yeah I don't actually see any signs of that anymore. What are the signs of edema on the scindapsus?

@@yvetteboonecreates yes, the edena does seem to go away. however, I think if it happens often enough, it can damage the leaf in the long run. I like to let my Scindapsus get the curled leaves before I water it. glad yours recovered. What a beautiful plant. 🩶🪴🩶

Now this is a haul and unboxing. Majority of other hauls and unboxings include like 1-3 plants. So happy to see that I'm not the only one who orders like 5+ plants at a time despite having no room.

I have some really nice plants from imports, but I have some really nice plants from places like Gabriella too. Imports are always a lot more of a risk. I think people think of imports as rare, and I have some really rare imports, but imports have a much lower survival rate for me. I highly recommend Steve's Leaves, Plant Proper, Spokane Plant Farm, Fred Pepper's, Oscar Allen Nursery, Tropiflora, lots of great places that people seldom to never do unboxings from. I have a scindapus jade satin that has been through everything with me, must be 20 yrs old, really sturdy plant, always plenty of cuttings to gift friends too.

WHAT!!!! 20 years. Oh that really has me excited. I have one plant in my collection that I've had for over a decade. Cuttings as gifts is a great idea. Thanks for the shop suggestions. I have tried Steve's Leaves, but the others are new. Definitely gonna check them out.

One of my absolute favorite online nurseries. I would recommend them to any person looking to buy healthy beautiful plants. I get their stock updates weekly and EVERY week I have to restrain myself. Sensible thing to do would be to get off their mailing list...WHO DOES THAT?🤷🏽‍♀️

I am a beginner …Two years ago I had over 50 plants … I would talk to them, we would listen to Buddhist chanting music and I would feed them. I had a serious health challenge and had to get rid of everything and start all over. Where are you located. Glad you started a channel..I want to start one and hope to do so before end of year. I have a scouting trip in June..so a lot to do before then. The reason why we get excited about plants ( nature) is because that is who we are. 🥰

Good morning Yvette, I can't tell you how much I love , love ,love your haul and they are going on my wishlist. As for me purchasing a plant , the smaller the better for me. A two inch pot , even a single leaf clipping I prefer. I love nurturing them and watching them grow big . And yes , I do prefer thick and uniformity over long and stragely . I'm not the most coordinated and if your hanging out in the aisle , 🤷🏿‍♀️ accident waiting to happen .😂

That Hoya Louis Bois has me shook with 2" plants. He tried to die twice.

Get them Linda, they are much more beautiful in person. Just be careful with the kerii that you get a full plant. Sometimes they sell the stemless leaf in substrate and although she stays alive, she will never grow. No worries, you will be a hoya-head in no time. Once you get one and see how hearty they are, you will be hooked for sure.
