I recently had a contractor illegally enter my apartment to tighten my doorknob. He wasn't aware of the laws about not being able to do that, but it still made me uncomfortable. I bought the key-free keypad to prevent that from ever happening again, with my landlords blessing. I can't wait to install it for that extra peace of mind. My plan is to also to replace the doorknob with a key and touchscreen combo (by a different company) in the near future.
I can't initiallize it. The lock just stays in a clockwise loop showing all numbers but it doesnt respond me if i try to touch any number of the keypad
No, it doesn’t have the port of 9 volt battery for key touchscreen or key with keypad model. But it does have a port of 9 volt battery on the Yale assure 2 key-free touchscreen or key-free keypad model.
Yes, you can. For my Yale assure 2 doses not need hub. If your Yale assure 2 comes with wifi module it also works with google assistant, Alexa, and home kit. If not it works with home kit only. I think Yale hub is needed to work with more smart home system such as matter, z-wave……
It is a WIfi Module. You need to buy it separately but my came with wifi package. You can buy it from Amazon.www.amazon.ca/Yale-Wi-Fi-Smart-Module-Assure/dp/B0B9HVCWCC/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?keywords=yale+assure+lock+2+wifi+module&qid=1691157537&sr=8-1
