WFMY News 2's CBS affiliate WNCN reported an armed and dangerous person on or near the UNC Chapel Hill campus on Aug. 28.
Governor Roy Cooper confirms there were shots fired on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus.
UNC Police released a photo of the person of interest on Twitter, warning students to keep their distance and call 911 if they see him.

This is not a monthly occurrence its literally weekly. Do better US. If school owners can't afford armed guards they shouldn't be allowed to open.
