i wasnt surprised what they did. i knew they were going after a QB. I didnt think it was going to be Penix. they signed Kirk to mentor a young QB for a couple years. then they can cut him without paying the last 2 years of his contract. Kirk is a good leader and a professional. He will most likely be a good mentor. i said this when Kirk first got signed an everybody complained about a 4 yr contract when its really only 2 guaranteed

Ryan Clark made a good point on the Penix pick by the Falcons. With Cousins regular season performance, it’s unlikely that the Falcons get a shot at a franchise QB in the next couple drafts. They likely will be picking 15th or higher next year. So getting Penix now kinda makes sense.

Respect for an adult doesn’t need to be “earned” to a child. It doesn’t give the Adult the right to do/say just anything, but a child should always respect adults. When they don’t, you get many of the kids we have today which are hella disrespectful to adults. Answer this, how well do people function in society that don’t respect Age, Title, Position, Profession etc??? Oh okay.

Shannon let ocho get his thoughts out all the way now which is good. now ocho need understand that stating his opinion isn't necessarily talking down or talking bad about players. It's OK to point out things players need to improve that's what a sports "analyst" supposed to do. You can support all players and point out where they can improve, we the viewer's wanna hear from past players how current players can improve and better themselves because yall have more knowledge of the game then we do and see what we don't.
